The viability, productivity and survival of higher plants under the adverse factors influence are largely determined by functional activity antioxidant system. aim our work was to investigate changes in formation high-molecular (superoxide dismutase peroxidase) low-molecular (phenolics, including flavanols proanthocyanidins) antioxidants callus culture Camellia sinensis phenolic precursors (L-phenylalanine – 3 mM, trans-cinnamic acid 1 naringenin 0.5 mM). According data obtained, effect on tea cultures did not lead significant increasing superoxide peroxidase most cases. However, it led increased accumulation total phenolics content, as well proanthocyanidins contents. For C. cultures, promising regulator compounds L-phenylalanine, presence which its content almost twice. Thus, exogenous various is possible use for targeted regulation certain classes plant cells.

Quercetin is a flavonoid with low molecular weight that belongs to the human diet’s phenolic phytochemicals and nonenergy constituents. has potent antioxidant capacity, being able capture reactive oxygen species (ROS), nitrogen (RNS), chlorine (ROC), which act as reducing agents by chelating transition-metal ions. Its structure five functional hydroxyl groups, work electron donors are responsible for capturing free radicals. In addition its different pharmacological properties of quercetin have been described, such carcinostatic properties; antiviral, antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory ability protect low-density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation, inhibit angiogenesis; these developed in this review.

Colorectal cancer is a prevalent malignant tumor with complex and diverse pathogenesis. In recent years, natural products have shown promising application prospects as sources of anticancer drugs. BBR, class benzoquinoline alkaloids extracted from various plants, widely used in disease treatments owing to its pharmacological activities, including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, anti-angiogenesis properties. Research has demonstrated that BBR exerts an anti-Salmonella -Escherichia coli infection effect, attenuating inflammatory reactions by inhibiting harmful bacteria. During the stage colorectal precancerous lesions, inhibits activity cell cyclin regulating PI3K/AKT, MAPK, Wnt signaling pathways, thereby decelerating cycle progression polyp or adenoma cells. Moreover, inhibitory effect on primarily occurs through regulation cycle, anti-angiogenesis, gut microbiota, antioxidant pathways. The specific involved pathways include MPK/ERK, NF-kB, EGFR encompassing Bcl-2 family proteins, vascular endothelial growth factor, superoxide dismutase. This study reviews summarizes, for first time, mechanisms action carcinogenesis process cancer, providing novel insights clinical intestinal diseases.

Echinacea purpurea L. (EP) preparations are globally popular herbal supplements known for their medicinal benefits, including anti-inflammatory activities, partly related to phenolic composition. However, regarding use the management of inflammation-related intestinal diseases, knowledge about fate orally ingested constituents throughout human gastrointestinal tract and exposition in vitro digested extracts relevant inflammatory models unknown. This study investigated first time impact digestion (INFOGEST) on composition properties EP from flowers (EF), leaves (EL), roots (ER) IL-1β-treated colon-derived CCD-18Co cells. Among seven hydroxycinnamic acids identified using HPLC-UV-MS/MS, chicoric caftaric showed highest concentrations EL, followed by EF ER, all exerted significant reductions IL-6, IL-8, PGE2 levels. After digestion, despite reducing bioaccessibility phenolics, effects were preserved EL and, a lesser extent, EF, but not ER. The lower content ER could explain these findings. Overall, this emphasizes potential alleviating conditions disorders.

In recent years, the livestock industry has shown increasing concern regarding need to find effective alternatives antibiotic products while also striving produce high-quality and poultry products. Woody feed sources exhibit wide distribution variety, containing a variety of bioactive substances such as flavonoids alkaloids. Among these woody plants, Neolamarckia cadamba (Nc) characteristics high leaf yield, fast growth rate, rich nutritional value, which great development potential. However, whether Nc supplementation can improve performance, immunity, gut health yellow-feathered broilers remains be explored. present study, we aimed investigate effects diet supplemented with dry powder or water extract on intestinal broilers. The results showed that, (1) There was no significant difference in Body weight (BW), Average daily gain (ADG), intake (ADFI), Feed conversion ratio (FCR) between experimental groups control group (P > 0.05); (2) Compared group, thymus index at 63 days significantly increased 1% < 0.05). Anastomotic leaks remain a significant challenge in intestinal surgery, often leading to severe complications. This study investigated novel approach enhance anastomotic healing and reduce the risk of by combining traditional suturing stapling techniques with non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma (NTAPP) application. NTAPP, cold generated through ionization ambient air, has been shown possess antimicrobial, hemostatic, wound-healing properties. NTAPP promotes sterilization, coagulation, tissue regeneration generating reactive oxygen nitrogen species, potentially strengthening union. pilot evaluated efficacy three patients undergoing anastomosis. Following standard surgical procedure, was applied directly site. Postoperative outcomes were monitored for six months, including rates. Preliminary results demonstrated promising outcomes. All exhibited successful sealing anastomosis, no evidence leakage during follow-up period, providing reassurance confidence potential sutures, staples, NTAPP. These findings suggest that can significantly improve safety surgeries reducing incidence leaks. While further research larger sample is necessary confirm these initial findings, this provide strong foundation exploring as valuable adjunct conventional preventing innovative could postoperative complications, patient outcomes, overall quality care surgery.
