Traditional skin care practices across cultures use plant, mineral animal derivatives believed to provide benefits such as moisturising, anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory soothing effects. Daily exposure to solar light is not so harmless as previously thought, since UVA and UVB radiation has a significant effect on human health, by inducing skin-related inflammatory manifestations, such hyperpigmentation, dermatitis, premature aging, erythema, sunburn, among the most common skin conditions. At same time, irreversible diseases various types of cancers, like basal cell carcinoma, melanoma, squamous have begun increase at dramatic rates, due oxidative malignant effects UV exposure. Within this article, health promoting sunscreen for protection especially enriched with natural antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-cancer bio-functional ingredients are thoroughly reviewed. Emphasis given bioactives from grape by-products, phytochemicals flavonoids, stilbenes, phenolic acids, well tomato-derived lycopene, which act either solely or synergistically significantly enhance antioxidant capacity composition product, its photo-protection. Grape seeds are a rich source of bioactive compounds, especially polyphenols, which known for their antioxidant and anti-aging properties. The aim this study was to extract phytochemicals from the Lebanese grape variety “Obeidi” incorporate them into liposomes hyalurosomes in order select most effective formulation improving skin properties protecting against oxidative damage. were extracted by sustainable ethanol-water method, yielding total phenolic content (TPC) 376 ± 16 mg/g (gallic acid equivalents) an activity 0.58 0.04 µg/mL (trolox equivalents). Solid-state fermentation (SSF) is the bioprocess where microorganisms are cultivated in absence of free water under controlled conditions. Lactic acid can be produced by Rhizopus oryzae SSF grape stalks.
