Oxidative stress, driven by reactive oxygen, nitrogen, and sulphur species (ROS, RNS, RSS), poses a significant threat to cellular integrity human health. Generated during mitochondrial respiration, inflammation, UV exposure pollution, these damage cells contribute pathologies like cardiovascular issues, neurodegeneration, cancer, metabolic syndromes. Lifestyle factors exert substantial influence on oxidative stress levels, with mitochondria emerging as pivotal players in ROS generation equilibrium. Phytochemicals, abundant plants, such carotenoids, ascorbic acid, tocopherols polyphenols, offer diverse antioxidant mechanisms. They scavenge free radicals, chelate metal ions, modulate signalling pathways mitigate damage. Furthermore, plants thriving high-altitude regions are adapted extreme conditions, synthesize secondary metabolites, flavonoids phenolic compounds bulk quantities, which act form robust defence against including radiation temperature fluctuations. These promising sources for drug development, offering innovative strategies manage stress-related ailments enhance Understanding harnessing the potential of phytochemicals from represent crucial steps combating stress-induced disorders promoting overall wellbeing. This study offers comprehensive summary production physio-pathological aspects lifestyle-induced explores antioxidants. Additionally, it presents an appraisal medicinal antioxidants, highlighting their development creation therapeutic approaches.

Aging is a multifaceted process influenced by hereditary factors, lifestyle, and environmental elements. As time progresses, the human body experiences degenerative changes in major functions. The external internal signs of aging manifest various ways, including skin dryness, wrinkles, musculoskeletal disorders, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, neurodegenerative cancer. Additionally, cancer, like aging, complex disease that arises from accumulation genetic epigenetic alterations. Circadian clock dysregulation has recently been identified as an important risk factor for cancer development. Natural compounds herbal medicines have gained significant attention their potential preventing age-related diseases inhibiting progression. These demonstrate antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-proliferative, pro-apoptotic, anti-metastatic, anti-angiogenic effects well circadian regulation. This review explores cancers, specific natural targeting key features these conditions.

The medicinal potential of plant extracts, especially their antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiviral and cytotoxic properties, has gained significant attention in recent years. This study examined the vitro bioactivities several selected Greek plants, like Eucalyptus globulus L., Thymus vulgaris Salvia rosmarinus L. Ocimum basilicum are well-known for traditional therapeutic use. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) assays were used to evaluate antimicrobial activity extracts against pathogenic bacteria. antioxidant was carried out using DPPH method, while cytotoxicity plants determined Alamar Blue method. In addition, efficacy samples tested DENV different cell lines. majority herbs demonstrated action (MIC = 30–3000 μg∙mL−1). showed great activity, extract turned be most effective (IC50 12.89 ± 0.11 contrast, had lowest 71.02 0.42 results method presented with CC50 values, it shown that exhibited highest (CC50 5.94% v/v 0.04). Similarly, expressed as EC50 characterized sample dengue virus infection, values estimated at 2.37% 0.6 (HuhD-2 cells infected DENV-2) 0.36% 0.004 (Huh7.5 DVR2A). These findings provide a foundation further studies order combat infectious diseases promote human health.

Oxidative stress plays a crucial role in chronic nasal disorders, contributing to inflammation, tissue damage, and impaired mucosal function, highlighting the need for targeted therapies. Recent advancements drug delivery systems have expanded their applications treating respiratory inflammatory conditions. Among these, hydrogel-based offer prolonged release of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), enhancing therapeutic efficacy reducing dosing frequency. This study initially evaluates antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, cytotoxic properties Nanotriphala, followed by its incorporation into thermoresponsive situ hydrogel system, which was subsequently developed characterized as novel formulation. Nanotriphala exhibited >90% cell viability significantly reduced nitric oxide (NO) levels 40.55 µg/mL at 250 µg/mL. The key parameters, including viscosity, gelling time, pH, temperature, texture analysis, ex vivo spreadability. Stability assessed under various conditions, mutagenicity antimutagenicity were evaluated using Ames test. Results showed that gelled 34 °C, good spreadability (10.25 ± 0.28 cm), viscosity 227 22 cP, maintained pH 5.75 0.01, with optimal hardness adhesiveness suitable application. It demonstrated antimicrobial activity against E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, epidermidis minimal bactericidal concentrations (MBCs) 32, 2, 4, 8 µg/mL, respectively, low (mutagenic index < 2) strong antimutagenic (>60%). gallic acid content 0.5796 0.0218 µg/100 mL. studies confirmed storage 4 °C. Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Bay laurel leaf extract conjugated with zinc nanoparticles (Zn-Nano-BLLE) as a growth enhancer and antibiotic alternative in broiler diets on performance, carcass characteristics, blood markers. In completely randomized design, 264 one-day-old Ross 308 chicks were divided into four experimental groups assess impact Zn-Nano-BLLE supplementation. Each group consisted six replicates, each containing 11 unsexed chicks. The treatments follows: control (basal diet) without any additives, three receiving at 1, 2, 3 cm³ Zn-Nano-BLLE/kg feed, respectively. Results indicated that supplementation 1 or cm³/kg feed led significant improvements live body weight gain. lowest intake conversion ratio observed broilers supplemented (30.94 1.14, respectively). However, highest dressing, carcass, heart percentages found group. Additionally, fed showed levels total protein, albumin, globulin, while also exhibiting cholesterol low-density lipoprotein (161.52 88.35, immunoglobulin G (IgG) elevated groups, although no noted M (IgM). Birds given 2 demonstrated superoxide dismutase activity (164 U/ml), had levels. conclusion, dietary inclusion Zn-Nano-BLLE, particularly cm³/kg, enhanced immunity, productivity, antioxidant status, indicates its effectiveness natural production.
