The gut-brain-cancer axis represents a novel and intricate connection between the gut microbiota, neurobiology, cancer progression. Recent advances have accentuated significant role of microbiota metabolites in modulating systemic processes that influence both brain health tumorigenesis. This paper explores emerging concept metabolite-mediated modulation within connection, focusing on key such as short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), tryptophan derivatives, secondary bile acids, lipopolysaccharides (LPS). While microbiota's impact immune regulation, neuroinflammation, tumor development is well established, gaps remain grasping how specific contribute to neuro-cancer interactions. We discuss with potential implications for neurobiology cancer, indoles polyamines, which yet be extensively studied. Furthermore, we review preclinical clinical evidence linking dysbiosis, altered metabolite profiles, tumors, showcasing limitations research gaps, particularly human longitudinal studies. Case studies investigating microbiota-based interventions, including dietary changes, fecal transplantation, probiotics, demonstrate promise but also indicate hurdles translating these findings therapies. concludes call standardized multi-omics approaches bi-directional frameworks integrating microbiome, neuroscience, oncology develop personalized therapeutic strategies patients.

Healthcare professionals frequently experience significant work overload, which often leads to substantial physical and psychological stress. This stress is closely linked increased oxidative a corresponding decline in energy levels. scoping review investigates the potential impact of dietary antioxidants food supplements conjunction with diet controlling these negative effects. Through an analysis biochemical pathways involved metabolism, paper emphasizes effectiveness targeted interventions. Key antioxidants, such as vitamins C E, polyphenols, carotenoids, are evaluated for their ability counteract enhance Additionally, assesses various supplements, including omega-3 fatty acids, coenzyme Q10, ginseng, mechanisms action enhancement. Practical guidelines incorporating energy-boost strategies into routine healthcare provided, emphasizing importance modifications reducing improving overall well-being performance high-stress environments. The concludes by suggesting directions future research validate findings explore new interventions that may further support under overload.

Objective The adherence to plant-based diets has been shown positively impact longevity by reducing the incidence and severity of lifestyle-related diseases. Previous studies on association dietary pattern, as evaluated index (PDI), healthy (hPDI) unhealthy (uPDI), with mortality risk have reported inconsistent results. We performed present meta-analysis summarize evidence this quantify potential dose–response relationship based all available cohort studies. Methods A comprehensive literature search systematic review relevant articles up October 2024 was in PubMed Scopus. summary estimates (RR) 95% confidence interval (CI) for highest versus lowest category PDIs, hPDIs uPDIs were calculated. Dose–response also reporting categorical at least three quantitative levels uPDIs. Results total 11 eligible (13 datasets) eventually included meta-analysis. Participants quintile both PDI hPDI had a significantly decreased all-cause (pooled HR = 0.85; CI: 0.80–0.90; pooled 0.86; 0.81–0.92) compared participants quintile. In contrast, uPDI associated an increased 1.20; 1.11–1.31). showed that there non-linear between or level ( p 0.001 < non-linearity, respectively). No observed 0.596 non-linearity). Conclusion Greater pattern lower mortality, whereas risk. Thus, promoting may be key strategy improving public health burden diet-related mortality.

Abstract Intermittent fasting (IF) is an eating pattern that promotes health and cognitive improvement through periodic eating. It has been shown to enhance neuroplasticity reduce oxidative stress inflammation. Recent studies have demonstrated probiotic supplementation enhances performance by modulating gut microbiota composition increasing short‐chain fatty acid production, which in turn neurogenesis synaptic plasticity. The microbiota‐gut‐brain axis (MGBA) the communication bridge between brain, influencing function immune, endocrine, nervous systems. combination of probiotics IF may exert complementary effects on function, with enhancing microbial diversity metabolic efficiency, while further modulate barrier integrity neurotransmitter synthesis. This review critically examines interplay via MGBA, identifying key mechanisms potential therapeutic strategies remain underexplored current research.

Animals and humans are frequently infected by bacteria or exposed to bacterial derivatives in contaminated food, drinking water, air, which significantly impacts their health. Among these sources, LPS (lipopolysaccharide) is the primary culprit. While it widely known that can cause liver inflammation damage animals, few studies have investigated this mechanism from perspective of RNA editing. In study, we administered mice via gavage induce a injury model. We then used editing omics approaches (RE-seq) analyze events potentially leading following administration, aiming reveal crucial role LPS-induced processes. At level, observed significant differences between group control (CON) group. Specifically, identified 354 differentially edited genes, with 192 upregulated 162 downregulated. These genes were enriched pathways related apoptosis, mTOR signaling, oxidative stress, Nf-Kappa B signaling. By further integrating gene expression profiles using nine-quadrant analysis, an important gene, Birc3, showed higher levels This directly linked damage. The Birc3 represents potential underlying damage, providing novel approach for addressing animal human health issues.

Objective Colorectal adenomas (CRA) are the primary precancerous lesions leading to colorectal cancer (CRC). Early detection and intervention of CRA can significantly reduce incidence CRC. We investigated relationships between gut microbiome expression levels PD-L1, IL-6, IFN-γ at different stages. Methods Participants were divided into normal, non-advanced adenoma (NAA), advanced (AA) groups. PD-L1 in collected tissues was analyzed via immunohistochemistry (IHC) Western blotting. Serum IL-6 measured using Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). 16S rRNA gene sequencing used examine microbiota changes, with correlation analysis assess microbial influences on progression. Results The main differences bacterial composition among three groups found within Firmicutes Bacteroidetes phyla. In normal vs. NAA comparison, Clostridium sensu stricto, Faecalimonas, Gemmiger, Ruminococcus more abundant group, while Solobacterium enriched group. For AA group Anaerostipes, Blautia, Intestinibacter, Phocaeicola, Turicibacter , whereas exhibited higher relative Anaerostipes Blautia positively correlated taurine hypotaurine metabolism, propanoate zeatin biosynthesis. protein progressively increase advancement. Dietary fiber, found in plant-based foods, plays an essential role human health. It is divided into two types—soluble and insoluble—both offering significant health benefits. Research has shown that increasing fiber intake can reduce the risk of various chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases (CVD), type II diabetes, obesity, colon cancer, inflammation. These conditions are major global challenges, making consumption a key focus for disease prevention. This study reviews range clinical trials, cohort studies, meta-analyses to explore how dietary affects these risks. By synthesizing data from multiple sources, we clear association between higher lower incidence diseases. However, studying effects on presents several challenges. Variations types bioavailability make it difficult generalize results. Additionally, often self-reported, leading potential inaccuracies data. Many studies also lack consistency methodology, short durations limit ability assess long-term outcomes. factors harder draw definitive conclusions about full fiber’s Despite fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes remains highly recommended strategy improving reducing disease.
