Aims:
This
study
aims
to
evaluate
the
knowledge,
attitude,
and
compliance
of
students
working
in
sterile
area
operating
room
on
surgical
hand
preparation
procedure
using
ultraviolet
lamp
method.Methods:
The
was
planned
as
a
cross-sectional
research
carried
out
at
technology
department.This
conducted
with
total
94
first-and
second-year
students.The
data
collected
through
"the
introductory
information,
hygiene,
attitude
form",
photographs
were
taken
under

alcohol-based

Background:
Peri-implantitis,
the
most
prevalent
cause
of
implant
failure,
is
a
multifaceted
issue
that
influenced
by
various
factors
promote
biofilm
formation
around
implant.
Although
innovative
methods
for
microbiological
decontamination
dental
implants
exist,
universally
accepted
standard
protocol
has
not
yet
been
established.
However,
potential
device
generates
an
electric
current
(Ximplant®)
in
reducing
survival
microorganisms
within
promising
development.
Methods:
In
this
vitro
study,
five
implants,
contaminated
using
microbial
culture
from
sample
saliva
patient
suffering
peri-implantitis,
were
decontaminated
Ximplant®
peri-implantitis
protocol.
The
experimental
conditions
included
simulated
peri-implant
site
and
subsequent
fluorescent
assessment
Live/Dead
population.
Results:
qualitative
quantitative
image
analyses
showed
predominant
dead
light
signal
on
treated
sample,
demonstrating
efficacy

electrostatic

surface
viability

Abstract
Background
The
rising
global
demand
for
dental
implant
highlights
the
necessity
precise
imaging
techniques
that
minimise
patient
risk
of
radiation
exposure.
While
cone
-beam
Computed
Tomography
(CBCT)
remains
gold
standard,
its
ionizing
exposure
raises
safety
concerns.
This
systematic
review
and
meta-analysis
aim
to
evaluate
accuracy
non-ionizing
alternatives,
Magnetic
Resonance
Imaging
(MRI)
Ultrasonography,
in
implantology.
Methods
Databases
(MEDLINE,
Scopus,
Cochrane)
were
searched
studies
(2014–2024)
using
predefined
PICO
criteria.
Risk
bias
was
assessed
via
QUADAS-2.
Meta-analysis
employed
fixed/random-effects
models
synthesize
quantitative
data
on
geometric
deviations
soft-tissue
accuracy.
Results
Twelve
included
this
study.
MRI
generally
exhibited
greater
deviation
tip
placement
at
0.3mm
(95%
CI
-0.08,
0.68),
overall
remained
comparable
CBCT.

a

This
study
investigates
the
effects
of
various
surface
modification
techniques
on
Ti-6Al-4V
alloy

biomedical
applications.
