In this study, a systematic review of randomized clinical trials conducted from January 2000 to December 2023 was performed examine the efficacy psychobiotics—probiotics beneficial mental health via gut–brain axis—in adults with psychiatric and cognitive disorders. Out 51 studies involving 3353 patients where half received psychobiotics, there notably high measurement effectiveness specifically in treatment depression symptoms. Most participants were older female, treatments commonly utilizing strains Lactobacillus Bifidobacteria over periods ranging 4 24 weeks. Although general agreement on variability approaches presentations limits comparability generalization findings. This underscores need for more personalized optimization deeper investigation into mechanisms through which psychobiotics act. The research corroborates therapeutic potential represents progress management

Non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) comprises approximately 85% of all cases, often diagnosed at advanced stages, which diminishes the effective treatment options and survival rates. This systematic review assesses utility emerging biomarkers-circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), microRNAs (miRNAs), blood mutational burden (bTMB)-enhanced by next-generation sequencing (NGS) to improve diagnostic accuracy, prognostic evaluation, strategies in NSCLC. Analyzing data from 37 studies involving 10,332 patients 2020 2024, highlights how biomarkers like ctDNA PD-L1 expression critically inform selection personalized therapies, particularly beneficial stages These are critical for assessments dynamically adapting plans, where high specific genetic mutations (e.g., ALK fusions, EGFR mutations) significantly guide use targeted therapies immunotherapies. The findings recommend integrating these into standardized clinical pathways maximize their potential enhancing precision, ultimately fostering significant advancements oncology improving patient outcomes quality life. substantiates predictive value emphasizes need ongoing innovation biomarker research.

The increasing demand for psychotherapy and limited access to specialists underscore the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in mental health care. This study evaluates effectiveness AI-powered Friend chatbot providing psychological support during crisis situations, compared traditional psychotherapy. A randomized controlled trial was conducted with 104 women diagnosed anxiety disorders active war zones. Participants were randomly assigned two groups: experimental group used daily support, while control received 60-minute sessions three times a week. Anxiety levels assessed using Hamilton Rating Scale Beck Inventory. T-tests analyze results. Both groups showed significant reductions levels. receiving therapy had 45% reduction on scale 50% scale, 30% 35% group. While provided accessible, immediate proved more effective due emotional depth adaptability by human therapists. particularly beneficial settings where therapists limited, proving its value scalability availability. However, engagement notably lower in-person therapy. offers scalable, cost-effective solution situations may not be accessible. Although remains reducing anxiety, hybrid model combining AI interaction could optimize care, especially underserved areas or emergencies. Further research is needed improve AI's responsiveness adaptability.

ABSTRACT Background This study investigates the role of KEAP1‐NRF2/HO‐1 signaling pathway in inducing ferroptosis and contributing to neuronal damage schizophrenia. Methods We retrieved schizophrenia‐related data ferroptosis‐related genes from RNA microarray dataset GSE27383 FerrDB database, respectively. Bioinformatics identified KEAP1 as a downregulated gene, which was validated using qRT‐PCR Western blot. assessed intracellular Fe 2 ⁺ content, MDA levels, GSH, GPX4 prefrontal cortex peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) patients with Cortical interneurons (cINs) were generated human‐induced pluripotent stem (hiPSCs) schizophrenia used explore alterations during neurodevelopment. In addition, overexpression induced cINs via transfection pcDNA KEAP1. The Fe⁺ oxidative stress indicators, lipid peroxidation, inflammatory cytokines measured after transfection. To investigate molecular mechanisms, KI696—a high‐affinity probe that disrupts KEAP1–NRF2 interaction—was applied, changes stress, peroxidation (C11‐BODIPY staining), iron metabolism, pathways evaluated. Results Patients exhibited underexpression KEAP1, key regulator ferroptosis, along elevated levels increased concentrations, indicating enhanced stress. Reduced activity GSH also observed, suggesting an susceptibility ferroptosis. further this, derived hiPSCs studied. These showed decreased expression. Overexpression led reduction concentrations damage, highlighting KEAP1's regulatory treatment KI696 significant related antioxidant defenses, inflammation. Conclusion Our findings indicate contributes injury

With the growing number of publications on search for biological markers mental disorders, it is important to analyze studies role extracellular DNA, cortisol, cytokines, and BDNF as severity endogenous depending disease stage antipsychotic treatment. Purpose: available data relationship between biomarkers disorders (cortisol, BDNF) stage, well therapy. Materials method. Publications accessible authors were selected from MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, Crossref, eLibrary, RSCI databases using key words “biomarkers disorders”, “stress cortisol”, “cytokines “BDNF”, “extracellular DNA”. A total 428 sources identified, 71 selected, primarily 2020 2024, focusing impact marker levels progression their changes under Priority was given meta-analyses systematic reviews, which reflect recent discoveries can significantly influence future research directions. Conclusion. The review analyzes in patients with associations stress, autoimmune disturbances, (first episode, long-term course, relapse, or remission), therapy, biomarker clinical manifestations illness. Correlations identified specific cognitive impairments, positive symptoms, negative symptoms. Research aims enable early diagnosis, develop new therapeutic targets, stratify optimal protocols, providing opportunities address clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative challenges.
