Blue spaces, water-based open are becoming focal points for urban vitalization. While previous studies have explored waterfronts’ various effects, little research has focused on their influence actual visitation and vitality. This study addresses this gap by analyzing the effect of riverfronts mobility using de facto population data, which tracks citizen activity location through mobile information. The focuses two major rivers in northwestern Seoul, covering nine riverfront facilities. Population Vitality (PV) Index (VI), novel measures derived from were calculated 266 tracts used as a new indicator spatial activation. Explanatory variables include regional factors, such density facilities, spaces’ specifications, vitalization patterns. findings show that higher densities park-green spaces commercial activities significantly enhance vitality, aligning with spaces. Compact riversides facilities also exhibit greater VI demonstrated feasibility dynamic metric assessing activation, effectively capturing temporal fluctuations. By utilizing big data indices, empirically demonstrates magnetic effects riverfronts, providing deeper insights into effective planning.

Abstract Serving as the direct interface for interaction between waterfront and urban dwellers, street space environment significantly influences people’s living experiences social interactions. Despite progress in renovation development of streets, these areas remain underutilized lack vitality expected such locations. Using Hunhe Waterfront Streets Shenyang a case study, this research employed Baidu heatmap data Semantic Differential method to assess both behavioral perceived area. Subsequently, study explored main factors influencing streets from three aspects: accessibility, facility configuration environmental construction. It also examined key features that affect under visual perception. Additionally, performed coupling analysis explore relationship within streets. The results indicated density infrastructure commercial facilities, well continuity pedestrian paths, were vitality. degree motorization, green index building enclosure ratio affecting Moreover, coordination was relatively poor, leaving considerable room improvement. By integrating behavior their perceptions environment, its intrinsic connection with features. This work aids developing more effective user-centric design strategies offering practical guidance revitalization redevelopment.

Ecological sensitivity is an essential indicator for measuring the degree of ecological fragility a region, and traditional highway routing ignores benefits regional nature, which causes irreversible impacts on natural environment. Based AHP method, this paper carries out comprehensive assessment K0+000~K56+438 section Guanzhuang Tourist Highway in Zhangjiajie Wuling Mountain Area from 2000 to 2020, it utilizes spatial autocorrelation analysis method reveal pattern its temporal changes sensitivity. The following results were obtained. (1) condition study area gradually improving, areas with higher are mainly distributed northeast southwest area. (2) has strong autocorrelation, but been reduced recent years, distribution discretized. (3) There problems high risk construction difficulty route selection scheme A line. optimized scheme, K line, can effectively avoid highly sensitive by adjusting bridge settings. Finally, article proposes engineering suitability restoration strategies different road sections regarding vegetation cover, landscape risk, geological hazards. This establishes set technical chains tourism ecologically fragile based evolution sensitivity, provides new ideas great significance maintaining balance stability ecosystems within
