Green synthesis of metal nanoparticles (NPs) has received extensive attention over other conventional approaches due to their non-toxic nature and more biocompatibility. Herein we report gold silver NPs (AuNPs@AV AgNPs@AV) prepared by employing a green approach using crude extract Aconitum violaceum Jacquem. ex Stapf. The synthesized were characterized Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission (TEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX), Diffraction (XRD), UV/Visible spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Zeta Potential. Morphological analysis showed spherical triangular shapes the with average size <100 nm. AuNPs@AV AgNPs@AV exhibited effective antibacterial activities, minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) 95 70 μg/mL against Lactobacillus acidophilus ( L. ) 90 65 Escherichia coli E. ), respectively. Strong antioxidant effect reported DPPH radical PTIO within range IC 50 values; 161–80 μg/ml as compared standard (23–11 μg/mL) Moreover, efficient photocatalytic activity degraded 89.88% 93.7% methylene blue (MB) dye under UV light,
