Background: In vitro findings on the biological functions of Lycium barbarum flavonoids (LBFs) as feed additives are limited. This study aimed to explore effects different concentrations LBFs growth performance, immune function, intestinal barrier, and antioxidant capacity meat ducks. A total 240 one-day-old male ducks were randomly allocated four groups, each receiving a basal diet supplemented with 0 (control), 250, 500, or 1000 mg/kg for 42 d. Results: The results showed that dietary supplementation 500 resulted in significant increase average daily intake, body weight, gain, conversion ratio. Dietary decreases serum levels D-lactic acid lipopolysaccharide. significantly decreased diamine oxidase activity enhanced activities catalase, capacity, glutathione peroxidase jejunal mucosa, well superoxide dismutase content ileal while lowering malondialdehyde mucosa. up-regulated mRNA expression genes associated barrier function protein these genes, led reduction pro-apoptotic inflammatory-related genes. Conclusions: addition improved response, ducks, which may be closely activation Nrf2 signaling pathway inhibition NF-κB pathway. optimal inclusion level was mg/kg.

Coffee is a renowned beverage derived from plants globally. In the coffee production process, pulp by-product that abundant in phenolic compounds. Therefore, this study aimed to assess effect of extract (CPE) on growth performance, blood biochemistry, intestinal morphology, carcass characteristics, and meat quality broiler chickens. A total 160 one-day-old male Ross 308 broilers were randomly allocated four treatments with five replicates eight chicks per replicate completely randomized design. These dietary included basal diet CPE 0 (Control), 250 (CPE250), 500 (CPE500), 1,000 (CPE1000) mg/kg for 35 days. The results showed body weight (BW) CPE500 group was significantly higher (P < 0.01) compared other groups at Moreover, increased average daily gain (ADG) = 0.004) reduced feed conversion ratio (FCR) 0.008). The 1:1 resveratrol–piperazine cocrystal was successfully synthesized and scaled-up to 300 g scale with the mechanochemical method, as a result of investigating key process parameters, namely solvent grinding time. use water, ethanol or ethanol–water mixtures reaction times up 50 min were evaluated relative dry process. Cocrystal formation purity monitored through X-ray diffraction calorimetry measurements. resulted in an incomplete formation, while water water–ethanol mixture yielded monohydrate solid phase. Pure found be optimal for large-scale cocrystallization, it delivered cocrystals high crystallinity after 10–30 time at laboratory scale. Notably, relatively fast (30–60 min) sufficient completion cocrystallization larger scales, using planetary ball mill plant reactor. Also, obtained increases aqueous solubility resveratrol by 6%–16% pH = 6.8. Overall, this study highlights potential solvent-assisted synthesis promising new approach efficient production pure cocrystals.
