Local injection of a freshly manufactured 35 kDa hyaluronan fragment reduces neuropathic and inflammatory pain: A clinical study

To investigate the ability of 35 kDa low-molecular-weight hyaluronan fragment (HA35) to relieve neuropathic and inflammatory pain, including postherpetic neuralgia shoulder, neck, back temporomandibular pain. Ten patients with 26 or pain were studied assessed. The was prepared by mixing hyaluronidase 100 mg high-molecular-weight HA at room temperature for 20 mins. Application of 35 kDa Hyaluronic Acid Fragment in Managing Persistent Localized Pain in Rheumatoid Arthritis : A Case Report

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by systemic joint inflammation, leading to damage and pain. This case report presents 58-year-old Chinese female who developed widespread pain after contracting mild COVID-19 was subsequently diagnosed with RA. Her symptoms included swelling, pain, abnormal serological markers. Initial treatment methylprednisolone tofacitinib discontinued due side effects, she switched combined approach of herbal Western medicine. After year treatment, her swelling largely resolved, leaving persistent localized in specific joints. Size-dependent aggregation of erythrocytes by low molecular weight hyaluronic acids of different sizes: bioactivity and quality control potential

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a crucial biological molecule whose diverse functions are strongly influenced by its molecular weight. In particular, low weight HA (LMW-HA) fragments-such as HA60 (average 60 kDa), HA35 35 and HA24 24 kDa)-exhibit enhanced tissue permeability unique interactions with cell surfaces compared to high (HMW-HA). This study investigates the size-dependent aggregation effects of LMW-HA on erythrocytes examines implications for bioactivity, quality control, therapeutic applications.
