This study investigated the effects of a physiologically active peptide derived from rice bran (KF-8) on oxidative stress in d-galactose (d-gal)-induced aging mice and underlying molecular mechanisms. The model was developed by subcutaneously injecting Institute Cancer Research with 250 mg/kg d-gal daily for 12 weeks simultaneously treating them 30 KF-8. relative expression levels Nrf2 NF-κB liver were determined western blot. regulation NF-κBp65 KF-8 further validated NIH/3T3 cells. Compared control mice, had significantly decreased body weights as well superoxide dismutase GSH-Px (p < 0.05); however, they increased serum reactive oxygen species malondialdehyde 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine accompanied aortic brain injuries. They also elevated RAGE, TLR4, IκB, Bax, caspase-8 expressions NF-κB/p65 phosphorylation but reduced BcL-2 liver. Moreover, vitro experiments demonstrated that pretreatment H2O2-treated cells mitigated signaling attenuated nuclear transport (both p 0.05). In conclusion, treatment inhibited aging-induced stress-related organ injury attenuating NF-κB/p38 preserving activity.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the changes in soy isoflavones and peptides milk after lactic acid bacterial fermentation, explore positive effects fermented on an oxidative aging mouse model induced with D-galactose. CQPC04-fermented enhanced organ index liver spleen, improved pathological morphology liver, skin. enzymatic activity glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD), catalase (CAT), (GSH), but decreased levels nitric oxide (NO) malondialdehyde (MDA) serum, brain tissues mice. above mentioned also collagen I (Col I), hyaluronic (HA), III III), advanced glycation End products (AGEs) hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O ). RT-qPCR showed upregulated mRNA expression nuclear factor erythroid 2?related ( Nrf2 ), heme oxygenase-1 HMOX1 quinone oxido-reductase 1 Nqo1 neuronal synthase NOS1 endothelial NOS3 Cu/Zn–superoxide Cu/Zn-SOD Mn–superoxide Mn-SOD CAT , downregulated inducible NOS2 ) glutamate cysteine ligase modifier subunit Gclm spleen tissues. Lastly, gene Cu/Zn-SOD, Mn-SOD, CAT, GSH-Px matrix metalloproteinases TIMP1 TIMP2 metalloproteinase MMP2 9 MMP9 skin tissue. In conclusion, able satisfactorily delay effects, its mechanism may be related increase peptides.
