Fruit waste contains several bioactive components such as polyphenols, polysaccharides, and numerous other phytochemicals, including pigments. Furthermore, new financial opportunities are created by using fruit ‘leftovers’ a basis for bioactivities that may serve foods or food ingredients, strengthening the circular economy’s properties. From technical standpoint, organic phenolic substances have become more appealing to industry, in addition their application nutritional supplements functional meals. Several extraction methods recovering compounds from already been published, most of which involve different solvents. However, there is growing demand eco-friendly sustainable techniques result phenolic-rich extracts with little ecological impact. Utilizing these advanced green will reduce global crisis caused management. Using modern techniques, residue degraded sub-zero scales, yielding bio-based commodities elements. This review highlights favorable creative separating materials residue. Extraction based on environmentally friendly technologies bioreactors, enzyme-assisted extraction, ultrasound-assisted combination specifically covered.

Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) is constantly subjected to abiotic stresses. Hence, the application of biostimulants, such as arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), organic amendments hold tremendous potential significantly improve growth yield date palm. The strengthening biostimulants’ main common modes action exerted through five functions: biostimulation (essentially), biofertilization, bioprotection, biological control, role bio-effector. Moreover, synergistic complementary effects manifest biochemical nutritional benefits, in addition molecular modulation. In this regard, present concise review focuses on highlighting beneficial impact AMF PGPR, well amendments, boosting health status productivity plants Furthermore, mechanisms reinforcing plants’ resilience stresses, powered by are particularly emphasized. The objective of this study was to assess the impact pulsed electric field (PEF) treatment on extraction polyphenolics and antioxidant activity from downgraded date palm fruits. PEF pretreatments (frequency: 30 Hz, time: 50 μs, pulse number: 240, strengths were found be 1, 2, 2.5 kV.cm−1, methanol (50%) temperatures (20, 40, °C)) optimized applied before produce an extract fruits with a high content bioactive compounds. extracts obtained immediately after analyzed for total polyphenolic content, activity, phenolic profiles. results revealed that PEF-assisted at kV.cm−1 T50 °C exhibited higher polyphenol (+27%) (+31%) notably improved profiles compared untreated extracts. processing significantly enhanced components activities over time, regardless extraction’s temperature. Hence, application combined thermal can appropriate alternative better extractability compounds fruit dates food byproducts. Three energy-rich protein (ERP) bars were prepared to meet the daily recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for of Pakistani athletes. The developed using dates, cheddar cheese (CC), whey isolate (WPI), roasted chickpea flour, and rice flour in different proportions. Bar #1 contained 64 g 16 dried apricots, 12 WPI, 8 ripened CC. #2 same proportion these ingredients with an addition 12.5 while bar #3 6.25 flour. All homogeneously mixed into paste form weighing 100-110 per serving size. These studied compositional analysis (moisture, protein, lipid content), characterization through sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), vitro determination angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE-I) antihypertensive activity. Moisture content 22% 0.057%-0.313%, respectively, fiber, ash contents varied from 22.3% 23.6%, 6.66 5.81, 2.12% 2.44%, respectively. minimum energy was recorded (272.70 Kcal/100 g) showed highest 274.65 Kcal/110 (5%) Electrophoresis proteins # 1 (cheese +WPI) four bands at 62, 24, 20, kDa.
