(PDT)

emerged

alternatives.
While
rooted
in
ancient
practices,
these
methods
evolved
with
modern
innovations,
particularly
through
the
integration
of
lasers,
refining
their
efficacy.
PDT
harnesses
photosensitizers
to
generate
reactive
oxygen
species
(ROS),
which
are
detrimental
microbial
cells,
whereas
PTT
relies
on
heat

cellular
damage.

effectiveness

utilization

especially
when
integrated

nano-
or
micron-scale

Abstract:
Photodynamic
therapy
(PDT)
is
a
promising
noninvasive
tumor
treatment
modality
that
relies
on
generating
reactive
oxygen
species
(ROS)
and
requires
an
adequate
supply
to
the
target
tissue.
However,
hypoxia

Scientists
