Enhalus arcoides is a highly beneficial type of seagrass. Prior studies have presented proof the bioactivity E. acoroides, suggesting its potential to combat cancer. Therefore, this study aims delve deeper into acoroides bioactive molecule profiles and their direct biological anticancer activities potentials through combination in-silico in-vitro studies. This conducted metabolite profile analysis on utilizing HPLC-ESI-HRMS/MS analysis. Two extraction techniques, ethanol hexane, were employed for process. Furthermore, was using molecular docking simulations HER2, EGFR tyrosine kinase HIF-1α protein receptor. Afterward, antioxidant activity metabolites examined ABTS, antiproliferative tested an MTT assay. An revealed ability breast cancer by inhibiting HER2/EGFR/HIF-1α pathway docking. In addition, assay demonstrated that higher dosages from increased effectiveness toxicity against cell lines. Additionally, possess function as potent antioxidants, effectively series carcinogenic mechanisms. Ultimately, showed new approach unveiling metabolites’ receptors, with great cytotoxicity property prevent cascade.

Novel dietary strategies are urgently needed to address the limitations of current management and treatment options Type-2 Diabetes (T2D). Marine algae-derived peptides (MAP) represent a promising avenue, although, their potential remains mostly underexplored. This study employs pharmacoinformatics in vitro methods evaluate antidiabetic properties MAP provide new insights mechanisms mitigate prevalence T2D. Through systematic search predictive modeling, were identified assessed for bioactivity, toxicity, drug-likeness. Furthermore, molecular docking simulations with protein targets related T2D binding sites that be used optimize activity MAP. The structure-activity relationship profile reveals 13 candidates probable (Pa) scores >0.4, indicative insulin promoter. peptide FDGIP (P13;Phe-Asp-Gly-Ile-Pro) from Caulerpa lentillifera had best silico assessment value compared 50 other its was confirmed by data (e.g.EC50 60.4 57.9 α-amylase α-glucosidase inhibitions). Diet is one of the main drivers non-communicable chronic diseases (NCD). Modifying food supply may be an attractive strategy for promoting health and reducing NCD risk. The intentional modification, processing, enrichment, or fortification foods to produce "functional foods" currently varies according legal definitions existing regulatory frameworks, initially intended function, production methods. This review critically appraises concepts applied functional foods, proposing a new concept "functionalized foods". conceptual difference between two categories that term used products validated human through controlled trials, while obtained enrichment (bio)fortification lack such validation, yet. Consequently, aims establish framework better understanding range products, enhancing communication, more accurate interpretation landscape.

The discovery of new molecules from natural sources for the treatment tumors such as breast cancers is importance development functional foods and to pharmaceutical industry. A resource with potential activity against cancer forest onion, Eleutherine bulbosa (Mill.) Urb., but identity its active constituents their mechanisms action remain unexplored. Therefore, this study focuses on metabolite profiling, in silico or pharmacoinformatic mechanisms, well advanced validation vitro cell lines. Ten compounds identified E. bulb ethanolic extract (EBE) showed receptor radical inhibitory via network pharmacology molecular docking simulation. most promising compound was avenasterol binding PARP-1, HER2, iNOS receptors values −11.26, −8.34, −9.17 μg/mL, respectively. EBE had a smaller EC50 value, higher potency, than control antioxidant Trolox scavenging tests ABTS DPPH. The addition increased total dietary content, capacity contents extractable non-extractable phenolics in evaluated were color, smell, taste, texture overall impression, they according 9-point hedonic scale. Internal preference maps obtained based results from acceptance "intention buy" tests. In general, cakes lower content (2.6% 3.6%) had similar level cake 4.6% was least accepted. most important taste corresponding "like slightly" moderately" better acceptance. Nonetheless, even lowest amount added (2.6%), produced could be regarded sources (with above 3 g/100 g), thus confirming food additive.
