Previous studies have shown that suspension of ethanolic extract Psidium guajava (guava) leaves (PsE) has antihypertensive effects in rats on high-sodium diet (HSD), but some mechanisms to remain unexplored. The Effectiveness and Safety of a Nutraceutical Combination in Overweight Patients with Metabolic Syndrome

Background: The aim of the present study was to evaluate effectiveness and safety a nutraceutical combination given insulin-resistant overweight patients with altered lipid profiles. To this end, an observational designed in which 74 individuals (50 females 24 males) underwent period 3 months. Methods: During time, specific containing myo-inositol, glycine, Coprinus comatus, α-lipoic acid, phlorizin, zinc, vitamin B6, chromium picolinate administered.
