Flavonoids, a class of polyphenolic compounds, are widely distributed in plant-based foods and have been recognized for their potential to promote overall health well-being. Flavonoids fruits vegetables offer various beneficial effects such as anti-aging, anticancer, anti-inflammatory properties. extensively studied neuroprotective properties, which attributed ability cross the blood-brain barrier interact with neural cells. The purpose this review is to summarize recent research relevant HD nutrition, and describe some emerging theoretical approaches area. Clinical studies have identified swallowing problems fear choking as major impediments maintaining nutritional status with HD. Tube feeding associated co-morbidities, provides limited benefits. Non-human models utilized study diets supplements. Application findings from these humans not shown be comparable benefit. While factors non-human promising results, trials found little efficacy for or complexity human metabolic pathways may require a more sophisticated omics approach identify beneficial interventions.

Adequate micronutrients play a crucial role in cognitive health. Identifying relevant and constructing risk prediction models can guide the prevention of mild impairment (MCI) older adults. This study aimed to assess associations MCI with whole blood micronutrient levels develop nomogram for personalized In matched case-control study, 100 patients controls by age, sex education from Baodi District, Tianjin, China were recruited. was determined modified version Petersen criteria. Whole 9 vitamins 5 minerals measured using dried spot technique. Weighted quantile sum regression employed identify most significant associated function. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves constructed, predicting developed. High (vitamin A, vitamin B2, B6, B9) (magnesium, selenium) significantly lower prevalence, which B9 selenium ranked as contributors The ROC B2 (area under curve = 0.855) have superior diagnostic accuracy compared individual assessments (p < 0.05). Based on these findings, developed two predict risk. based be effectively used detect early preventive strategies

Cognitive decline is a prevalent health problem in older adults, and effective treatments remain to be produced. Serum vitamin D, commonly used biochemical marker, widely recognized as an indicator of various diseases. Existing research has not fully elucidated the relationship between D cognitive function. The aim this study investigate real function identify indicators that have strong predictive effect on decline. At first, we dataset genome-wide association studies studying performance conduct Mendelian randomization analysis. Subsequently, employed linear regression smooth curve fitting methods assess using National Health Nutrition Examination Survey data. Finally, investigated other features utilizing machine learning model. We found 1-unit increase associated with 6.51% reduction (P < .001) risk correlation nonlinear, inflection point at 79.9 nmol/L (left: β = 0.043, P .001; right: -0.007, .420). Background/Objectives: Rare diseases are a wide and heterogeneous group of multisystem life-threatening or chronically debilitating clinical conditions with reduced life expectancy relevant mortality rate in childhood. Some these disorders have typical neurological symptoms, presenting from birth to adulthood. Dietary patterns nutritional compounds play key roles the onset progression disorders, impact alimentary needs must be enlightened especially rare diseases. This work aims collect vitro, vivo, evidence on effects diet nutrient intake some including genetic diseases, brain tumors. Herein, those aspects critically linked genetic, biological, biochemical, pathophysiological hallmarks each disorder. Methods: By searching major web-based databases (PubMed, Web Science Core Collection, DynaMed, Clinicaltrials.gov), we try sum up improve our understanding emerging role nutrition as both first-line therapy risk factors Results: In line increasing number consensus opinions suggesting that nutrients should receive same attention pharmacological treatments, results this pointed out standard dietary recommendation specific disease is often limited by heterogeneity occurrent mutations variability manifestation. Abstract Background: Oxidative stress plays a critical role in the progression of pre-eclampsia and gestational hypertension. The body's own antioxidant system (including GST, CAT, GPX, SOD) dietary intake antioxidants such as vitamin A (retinol), carotene, C, E have been proven to counter oxidative stress-related damage. However, no comprehensive studies explored correlation between these factors risk [5] Methods: Instrumental variables (IVs) for four mentioned were obtained from largest GWAS dataset based on UK Biobank data, followed by two-sample Mendelian randomization study. IVs, F-statistics, Cochran’s Q tests, sensitivity analysis used examine causal relationship intake, stress, statistics quantify heterogeneity instrumental variable estimates. [7] Results: IVW method indicated an approximate 5.0% decreased hypertension per standard deviation (SD) increase SOD (OR = 0.95; 95% CI 0.90-1.00, p 0.048). For other biomarkers vitamins, significant effects observed (Retinol: 0.79 (0.56–1.11), 0.18; Carotene: 1.03 (0.78–1.36), 0.81; Vitamin C: (0.57–1.10), 0.16; E: 1.16 (0.86–1.56), 0.32; GST: 1.00 (0.96–1.05), 0.93; CAT: 0.88; GPX: 1.01 (0.96–1.06), 0.74). Similar results found pre-eclampsia. [9] Conclusion: This study suggests that is closely related supplements A, E, carotenoids did not show improvement or [11]
