Aim: Emotional dysregulation (ED) – the difficulty to control emotional responses stressors is a potential driver of intimate partner violence (IPV) perpetration among young men in HIV endemic resource-limited settings. This two-armed pilot cluster randomised controlled trial investigated effectiveness Stepping Stones and Creating Futures Plus (SSCF+), participatory gender transformative livelihood strengthening intervention, on South Africa (SA). Methods: A total 163 ages 18 30 years were recruited clusters (friendship groups) urban informal settlements rural areas KwaZulu-Natal, SA. Clusters randomly allocated (1:1) either experimental SSCF+ or arm, stratified urban/rural participants followed-up at 5 months. Examine the relationship between change in food insecurity status and depressive symptoms before during COVID periods undergraduates. Introduction This study examines the resilience of agrifood systems amid geopolitical tensions with a primary focus on Ukraine-Russia war and its increased effects global food security, climate change, post-pandemic recovery. The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted vulnerable populations, such as internally displaced Syrians and Syrian refugees (SSRs) in Middle Eastern host countries, through a syndemic interplay of health, social, economic challenges. Movement restrictions disrupted their livelihoods resulting increased food insecurity. A mixed-methods approach was used to address the research question: “What is relationship between Food Insecurity (FI), Mental Health (MH), among SSRs working agriculture”? One hundred SSR participants agriculture were recruited from northern Syria neighbouring countries participate Household Survey. survey data analysed using correlation regression analysis. Additionally, interviews with Survey researchers conducted thematically analysed. Increasing insecurity significantly correlated worse mental health outcomes (rs = −0.24, p 0.018). In the United States, both food security and waste are critical issues for population health well-being. Approximately 13.5% of U.S house­holds experienced insecurity in 2023. a given year, an estimated 22 million pounds (10 kg) wasted college campus dining halls. Food Recovery Network (FRN) student-led chapters work to reduce on campus, connect food-insecure popu­lations with excess food, provide various opportunities students participate activi­ties related sustainability. This research brief describes development logic model framework planning FRN chapter at undergraduate university Lehigh Valley, Penn­sylvania, initial outcomes from Weigh Waste events drive. A was developed outline situation, priorities, inputs, outputs, outcomes, assumptions, external factors, evaluation plan. The main outputs include regular meet­ings, social media outreach, collab­oration community-based organizations, address waste, drives resources organizations serving populations. For events, total 529 lbs.
