Objectives: This study investigates the effectiveness of an herbal formulation, STRESSLESS (ST-65), which combines ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) and bacopa (Bacopa monnieri), on SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells. Given rising interest in natural compounds for neuroprotection stress alleviation, we aimed to explore cellular molecular effects this formulation. Methods: Utilizing a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) metabolomic approach ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-high-resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS), identified key bioactive ST-65, including withanolides from bacosides bacopa. Results: Our findings indicate that ST-65 treatment significantly alters metabolic profile Key changes included increased levels metabolites linked neuroprotection, energy metabolism, antioxidant defense. ABSTRACT Ashwagandha is a supplement with the potential to improve exercise performance. However, research on its impact female athletes remains limited. Phaeodactylum tricornutum (PT) is a microalgae extract that contains fucoxanthin and has been shown to enhance cognitive function in younger populations. The present study assessed if PT supplementation affects cognition healthy, young-old, physically active adults with self-perceptions of memory decline. Methods: Forty-three males females (64.3 ± 6.0 years, 79.8 16.0 kg, 27.0 4.0 kg/m2) perceptions decline completed the double-blind, randomized, parallel-arm, placebo-controlled intervention clinical trial. Withania somnifera (common name: ashwagandha; WS) is an Ayurvedic botanical that has become popular for its reputed effects on stress and insomnia. Research into the bioactive compounds responsible biological of WS largely focused withanolides, a group steroidal lactones commonly found in Solanaceae family. Until recently, however, it was unclear which, if any, withanolides were present plasma after ingestion products. This prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled study assessed the effects of Ashwagandha root extract (ARE) on cognition, energy, and mood in adults with self-reported cognitive energy problems. Background Legacy media are publications that existed before the internet. Many of these have migrated to a web format, either replacing or in parallel their print issues. Readers place an economic value on access information presented as they pay for subscriptions and higher degree trust content. Much has been written about inaccurate misleading health social media; however, content accuracy contained legacy not examined detail. Discussion herbs, spices, other botanicals absent from this context.
