Neonatal infectious disease continues to result in high rates of infant morbidity and mortality. The global evolution of pathogens causing early-onset sepsis (EOS), a critical condition in preterm infants, necessitates re-evaluation risk factors to develop updated prevention and treatment strategies. This nationwide case–control study Taiwan analyzed data from the National Health Insurance Research Database, Birth Reporting Maternal Child Database 2010 2019. included 176,681 mother–child pairs with births. Introduction The issue of mortality due to sepsis remains a significant concern in the field medicine.
