Tannic acid is a chief gallo-tannin belonging to the hydrolysable tannins extracted from gall nuts and other plant sources. A myriad of pharmaceutical biological applications in medical field has been well recognized tannic acid. Among these effects, potential anticancer activities against several solid malignancies such as liver, breast, lung, pancreatic, colorectal ovarian cancers have reported. was found play maestro-role tuning oncological signaling pathways including JAK/STAT, RAS/RAF/mTOR, TGF-β1/TGF-β1R axis, VEGF/VEGFR CXCL12/CXCR4 axes. Osteochondral defects (OCD) cannot be efficiently repaired due to the unique physical architecture and pathological microenvironment including enhanced oxidative stress inflammation. Conventional strategies, such as control of implant microstructure or introduction growth factors, have limited functions failing manage these complex environments. Here we developed a multifunctional silk-based hydrogel incorporated with metal-organic framework nanozymes (CuTA@SF) provide suitable for OCD regeneration. The incorporation CuTA endowed SF uniform elevated hydrophilicity. In vitro cultivation mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) chondrocytes showed that CuTA@SF accelerated cell proliferation viability, well had antioxidant antibacterial properties.
