Yellow pitahaya is a tropical fruit that has gained popularity in recent years. Natural elicitors are compounds can stimulate the resistance and quality of fruits. The objective this study was to evaluate effects natural elicitors: methyl salicylate (MeSa), jasmonate (JaMe), salicylic acid (SA) oxalic (OA) at concentrations 0.1 mM (SaMe JaMe) 5 (SA OA), applied yellow fruits, under greenhouse conditions. After full blossom, 4 applications were made with frequency 15 days. At time harvest after storage, following variables evaluated: firmness (whole fruit), total soluble solids (TSS), acidity (TA), phenolics carotenoids (in pulp), while phenolics, carotenoids, macronutrients micronutrients determined peel. results showed JaMe presented delay ripening process, according TSS, TA, firmness, phenolic results, MeSa advanced maturation. Regarding alternative use peel as by-product, application significantly increased content polyphenols, peel, which be used bioactive compound food industry. In conclusion, indicate an improve shelf life

Alzheimer's disease (AD) remains a leading cause of cognitive decline and mortality worldwide, characterized by neurodegeneration, synaptic deficiencies, neuroinflammation. Despite advancements in early detection, diagnosis, treatment, AD presents substantial challenges due to its complex pathology, heterogeneity, the limited efficacy current therapies. Consequently, there is pressing need for novel therapeutic agents target multifaceted aspects enhance treatments, minimize adverse effects. AdipoRon, an adiponectin receptor agonist, has garnered interest potential neuroprotective effects, including reducing neuroinflammation, improving mitochondrial function, mitigating tau hyperphosphorylation. This review aimed evaluate effects AdipoRon-based replacement therapy against AD, using comprehensive approach grounded PICO framework-Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcomes. A total six studies were reviewed, vitro vivo investigations examining AdipoRon's impact on various models. These involved different cell lines transgenic mouse models, assessing outcomes such as phosphorylation, relevant molecular pathways. By synthesizing data from these studies, our thoroughly explains mechanisms action, agent AD. analysis aims highlight state knowledge, identify gaps research, suggest directions future clinical applications.

Red dragon fruit juice (RDFJ) is a common processing product on the market, and different methods can affect its quality. This study selected traditional thermal such as pasteurization novel non-thermal like ultrasonication cold plasma to treat red juice. The effects of quality were comprehensively evaluated through physicochemical properties, in vitro activity, metabolomics flavoromics. results indicate that cloud stability (CP) treatment increased by 16.64%, total polyphenol content 13.76%, antioxidant capacity was higher than other treatments. Cold significantly L-tyrosine affected amino acid metabolic pathways RDFJ, which contribute phenolic RDFJ activity. CP effectively preserved aroma components decreased harmful furan volatile compounds. suggest promising innovative technique RDFJ.
