Natural fibre composites have emerged as a viable alternative to conventional polymer composites, after environmental concerns gain popularity. In recent years, tremendous growth in the applications of natural been observed, particularly field construction, well aerospace and automotive industries. Polymers have been proven to be an interesting class of adsorbents applied in water treatment. Biopolymers are special interest due their unique properties such as biocompatibility, biodegradability, and reusability. This work reports a composite formed by chitosan biopolymer activated charcoal using sodium citrate crosslinking agent. The chitosan–citrate-activated (CCA) was characterized FT–IR, SEM, EDAX, XRD, TGA–DTA BET surface area analysis. material found microporous nature with 165.83 m2/g that led high adsorption capacities toward both the targeted pollutants. In aqueous phase, dye studies were carried out reactive orange 16 (R-16) dye, while gaseous CO2 capacity evaluated. Under optimum solution conditions, maximum R-16 removal 34.62 mg g−1, gas phase 13.15 cm3g−1. Intrinsic microporosity CCA resulted enhanced capture for carbon dioxide respective phases. Abstract One possible solution against the accumulation of petrochemical plastics in natural environments is to develop biodegradable plastic substitutes using components. However, discovering all-natural alternatives that meet specific properties, such as optical transparency, fire retardancy and mechanical resilience, which have made successful, remains challenging. Current approaches still rely on iterative optimization experiments. Here we show an integrated workflow combines robotics machine learning accelerate discovery with programmable optical, thermal properties. First, automated pipetting robot commanded prepare 286 nanocomposite films various properties train a support-vector classifier. Next, through 14 active loops data augmentation, 135 nanocomposites are fabricated stagewise, establishing artificial neural network prediction model. We demonstrate model can conduct two-way design task: (1) predicting physicochemical from its composition (2) automating inverse fulfils user-specific requirements.
