To obtain a more appealing wood coating with lighter color, bleaching treatment was employed. Bleached and unbleached bio-polyurethane (PU) prepared using liquefied bamboo applied to rubberwood. The coated surface examined for adhesion, scratch, abrasion, impact, resistance common household chemicals. results revealed that the of exerted mixed effects on finishing properties bio-PU coating.
