Background: Developing low-cost and reliable tool for interventions among elite athletes with depression anxiety symptoms is a crucial step toward combating the epidemic of anxiety. Although research suggests that exercise benefits mental health, psychiatric disorders have been acknowledged in the ultra-endurance-athlete population. At present, mental-health consequences of high-volume training associated with ultra-endurance sports are not well understood.We conducted a narrative review summarizing primary observations about per ICD-11 criteria athletes using keyword search Scopus and PubMed.We identified 25 papers discussing ICD-11-classified such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia athletes.Although evidence is limited, available indicate there sizable incidence issues composite psychopathological vulnerabilities this community. We contend may represent different, though similar, demographic than elite and/or professional athletes, they often engage similarly high motivation. Eating disorders (ED) have frequently been described among athletes. However, their specific features and therapy responses are lacking in the literature. The aims of this article were to compare clinical, psychopathological personality traits between ED patients who professional athletes (ED-A) with those not (ED-NA) explore differences response treatment. sample comprised n = 104 (n 52 ED-A matched ED-NA) diagnosed according DSM-5 criteria. Limited research exists on the health and injuries of South African senior netball players. Senior players may be at greater risk chronic disease due to their age. To treat these conditions, they use prescription over-the-counter (OTC) medications and, therefore, more vulnerable unintentional doping. Formula One (F1) racing has recently grown in popularity, extending well beyond its traditional European roots. However, there been a paucity of scholarly research dedicated to the health drivers and even less discussion prevalence psychiatric symptoms, risk factors, types psychopathology F1. This is notable given advancements sports psychiatry evidence disorders emerging across other sports. Accordingly, this perspective paper details physiological conditions F1 socioenvironmental pressures that driver may encounter during their career, including heat stress, weight restrictions, harassment, factors.
