Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyse the effects Covid-19 on supply chain management and provide an agenda for future research in context. Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) their employees have been particularly hard hit by the recession because of COVID-19 pandemic. This study assesses level vulnerability business resilience two hundred seven (207) Village (Barangay) Micro Business Enterprises (BMBEs) in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Likewise, it identifies mechanisms, opportunities, challenges BMBEs new normal. Respondents this are from wholesale retail trade food beverage service sectors City who were selected using stratified random sampling. The descriptive-comparative research was used utilized both researcher-made adapted questionnaires to gather data. Results showed that had a moderate high during crisis. In terms mechanisms challenges, most adopt technology for promotion purposes experienced insufficiency cash flows maintain operations. Telecommuting can be a necessary and excellent means of maintaining work activity in emergencies such as the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, when physical workplace is unfeasible. However, it may exacerbate work–family interfaces, burden daily personal life, negatively affect employees’ mental health. This study explored how telecommuting relates to conflict during COVID-19 analyzing data 836 managers employees from three major service sectors: tourism, public services, retail. Although the COVID-19 pandemic has generated voluminous research in mainstream business and management, there remains a need for robust state-of-the-art review of current diverse streams that have scattered across different fields. To address this lacuna growing body research, we conducted systematic 152 COVID-related papers field management published top-tier journals to identify impact on activities. Based review, classified topical foci selected studies under three broad categories (i.e., corporate strategy, design culture, contextual environment) 13 sub-categories (e.g., CoVsumption, uncertainty asphyxiation, normalization meta-firms), which are recurring themes papers. We correspondingly outline new avenues future theoretical practical implications study. The findings revealed that, during pandemic, adaptive strategies survive took precedence over shaping build post-COVID realities.

Objetivo: Investigar o impacto de estratégias procíclicas e anticíclicas no desempenho MPMEs contexto da crise Covid-19. Método/Abordagem: quantitativo, amostral, com 118 micro, pequenas médias empresas Minas Gerais, Brasil. Utilizou-se aporte análise correlação spearman regressão linear múltipla. Principais Resultados: período dominado pela pandemia (2020/2021), as apresentaram superior àquelas que utilizam procíclicas. Contribuições teóricas/metodológicas: Embora a literatura explore procíclicas, estudos associam influência ao organizacional ainda são raros. Esta lacuna é mais evidente quando consideradas em contextos crise. Ao associar dimensões novas, como recursos humanos, marketing produção, entre outras, este artigo ajuda preencher lacunas associadas, hoje, à falta trabalhos busquem modelos integrados capazes melhor compreender das crises, COVID-19. This study provides insights into the pattern of COVID-19 research publications in Indonesia and aims to map out contributions social science scholars country during pandemic, using bibliometric analysis. The analysis was conducted through desk scientometric method from Scopus database, with a total 1,037 articles analysed. found that sciences made significant fields online learning, economics, business management, public health administration, communication media studies. also identified influences areas, funding, open access, female first author, co-authors, international collaborative on quartile number citations. implications suggest efforts should be promote gender diversity research, allocate funding appropriately, encourage collaboration. Authors prioritize publishing high journals opt for access publication. Additionally, academic institutions agencies provide guidance selecting reputable maintain culture quality research.
