The comparative analysis of the effect economic policy uncertainty on environmental sustainability is imperious as it can provide critical insights into link between policies and sustainability. Economic may have different impacts in economies. present study provides a developed emerging employs pooled ordinary least squares panel quantile regression to analyze data from 2001 2019. Moreover, also compares impact across two econometric methods. It results quantiles distribution variables. includes agriculture output, renewable energy consumption, foreign direct investment model. show that negatively significantly increases GHG emissions. output emissions economies at higher quantiles. Furthermore, confirm pollution haven hypothesis, while consumption has positive reduces stresses governments should take measures minimize improve In addition, effective enhance openness policymaking process offer long-term certainty foster more stable conditions would encourage reduce

Geopolitical conflicts, involving a major player in the world market, affect prices of oil and commodities, particularly oil-importing countries. Consequently, unprecedented changes impact investments energy transition projects. This study aims to analyze dynamics investment decisions under uncertainties geopolitical risks. research applies Black-Scholes-based real options valuation value flexibility postponing considering repercussions Russia-Ukraine war. Applying proposed model case Philippines, result with net present USD 231 million for 1 GW capacity shows that is viable project when cost savings from using fossil fuels renewables are considered. On other hand, finds higher 990 million, which implies better decision postpone project. The uncertainty conflicts further increases this causing longer waiting period implement Sensitivity analysis results robust explanatory variables. Results provide policy implications on making an country self-sufficient economic shocks.

Introduction: Fossil fuel and electricity-based irrigation practices contribute to greenhouse gases add substantial costs water access. Solar-powered is spreading globally, notably in developing countries, as a solution the rising energy climate concerns related agriculture. This policy perspective devoted examining impact of solar facilities (SIF) adoption on cost return investment (ROI) based seven years panel data seeks efforts propel toward delivering myriad promises. Methods: Panel logistic regression was employed analyze determinants, while evaluated through propensity score matching with difference-in-difference (PSM-DID) method. In addition, time fixed effect DID doubly robust model also used for robustness check. Results: The result reveals that SIF significantly increased ROI by 20% 30% reduced 21% 30%. Conclusion: findings call further research analysis evidence-based best solutions at farm level so dissemination this revolutionary technology, apart from contributing advancement sector, plays vital role driving us towards establishing more equitable sustainable world.

Fossil fuel and electricity-powered irrigation techniques boost the water availability expense increase greenhouse gas emissions. Especially in developing countries, solar-powered is becoming more popular as a response to growing energy environmental issues associated with agriculture systems. The existing study used data from 1080 wheat farmers Balochistan, Pakistan, investigate impact of system (SPIS) usage on technical efficiency (TE) production. TE production estimated using stochastic frontier function, potential self-selectivity bias addressed an endogenous switching regression model. findings indicated that 13.7% cultivators assessed SPISs produce their crops. Using model shows SPIS increases growers by 6.657%, after controlling for self-selection bias. While SPISs, large farms farming familiarity had stronger positive effects TE. results highlight need investigation research into evidence-based good practice solutions at site level ensure rollout modern equipment not only drives sector forward but also contributes significantly our playing field sustainable environment.
