Nature-based solutions have been promoted as an effective strategy to address climate impacts, including urban temperature reduction. In this paper, we analyze the impacts of introduction street trees on (Universal Thermal Climate Index, UTCI) for three different dates, 2000, 2023, and 2050. A 3D model was developed in Rhinoceros software a part George Town, Penang Island. Four sections streets were simulated after integration with Grasshopper plug-in, where parametric system built measurements based simulations Ladybug Honeybee plug-ins. The tree species used selected from pool commonly planted settings Malaysia that low medium sensitivity impacts. results show maximum reduction 7 °C between 2000 2050, achieved NW–SE orientation rows trees. minimum UTCI 3 °C, 2023 one row. two SW–NE showed 5 Both only row but sizes, bigger reducing slightly larger area. importance introducing safeguarding reduce temperatures country, potentially keeping below life-threatening levels, thereby health, while also costs energy consumption.
