Addressing hunger, particularly within impoverished communities in Jordan and globally, demands innovative, practical solutions. The research focused on refugee populations their preferences for interventions aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2: Zero Hunger remains limited. This study explores the of refugees Irbid Camp Sakhra region, Jordan, two potential interventions—cultivated roofs (CRs) refrigerators as food banks (RaFB). Surveys conducted among 402 households serve to determine hunger reduction, influence demographic attributes these choices, feasibility each proposed intervention. Chi-square tests were utilized establish correlations between intervention variables, such age, gender, education level, family size. results reveal a strong preference (90%) RaFB over CRs (10%). While no significant was identified acceptance CRs, correlation discovered level predominantly favored due its lower implementation costs, reduced effort, risk, cultural compatibility, demonstrated success similar contexts. Conversely, highly educated more likely reject RaFB, indicating influences from diverse perspectives or access alternate provides valuable insight into advantages challenges implementing projects. Integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into Corporate Governance: A Cross-Sectoral Analysis of Japanese Companies

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have become a guiding framework for the public and private sectors. For companies, SDGs offer way to create value investors while addressing local global issues. Japan has embraced demonstrate its commitment sustainable development but, despite high ranking, faces challenges in improving performance. This study aims investigate how Japanese companies are considering their corporate governance. Assessing the influence of research quality on policy citations: Quantitative analysis finds non‐academic factors more likely to influence how papers get cited in SDG policy

Abstract Addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) requires policymakers to utilise high‐quality scholarly research effectively. This study explores extent which bibliometric indicators of quality—field weighted citation index, journal CiteScore, author h‐index and mentions—influence likelihood SDG‐related being cited in policy documents. Analysing metadata from over 16 million articles revealed modest relationships between selected citations. suggests that measures quality may not adequately explain influence, or these metrics might capture essence excellence a perspective. Importantly, identifies variations utilisation across different SDGs highlights potential role non‐academic factors determining impact. Mapping the Landscape of SDG Research in Kazakhstan: A Machine Learning–Based Approach

Research is critical in tackling the sustainable development goals (SDGs) particularly knowledge economy context, offering evidence-based solutions, monitoring advancements, and pinpointing hurdles. While scholars globally have extensively studied SDGs, there a notable gap understanding SDG-related research non-Global North contexts. This paper addresses this by examining trajectory current landscape of scholarly addressing SDGs Kazakhstan. A total 7092 Scopus-indexed Kazakhstani publications relevant to from 2015 2023 were identified using machine learning–based automated detection method investigate evolving over time predominant garnering most interest, analyze characteristics production related development, interconnectedness between published works. Kazakhstan's engagement with reflects its commitment economy, especially research, results show that relative growth Kazakhstan has declined 10% last seven years. Moreover, exhibit statistically lower rate international collaboration, are less available open access, receive funding than not SDGs. The study highlights significant variation attention given different SDGs: 7, 8, 10, 3, 4 received attention, while least was directed toward 1, 5, 14, 17. Igualdade de gênero e meio ambiente na Década de Ação para a Agenda 2030: uma análise bibliométrica

A igualdade de gênero é uma questão/problema do meio ambiente neste período atual. Apesar disso, inexiste um exame bibliométrico sobre os tipos e padrões publicação artigos essa problemática, acordo com Objetivos Desenvolvimento Sustentável das Nações Unidas, em seu particular, o objetivo 5 da Agenda 2030, nesta Década Ação para progresso cumprimento dos Globais. Este artigo teve por mapear as principais literaturas relacionadas à discussão suas ligações ordem ambiental, conforme princípios 2030. Para isso, realizou-se estudo dados buscados na base Scopus, considerando principalmente análises propostas científica. Em relação aos resultados, foram mapeados 28 científicos alto impacto, autores, países, instituições pesquisas, financiadores áreas conhecimentos que abordaram diretamente problemas consonância Pode-se concluir estudos, analisados bibliometricamente, podem ser úteis pesquisadores tomadores decisão interessados no tema abordado, pois permitiu visão geral informações bibliométricos são relevantes sustentabilidade humanidade.
