This article presents a case study on the way of teaching and learning subject ‘Information Systems’ to ICT (Information Communication Technology) engineering students, which is based an active strategy implemented through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method, practice that facilitates knowledge acquisition in addition enhancing diverse outcomes such as teamwork, critical thinking, analysis, or communication skills. aims present students’ perceptions once they have undertaken whole subject, better understand different positive negative elements associated with PjBL implementation according their opinions. Students’ were obtained survey utilizing Bipolar Laddering (BLA) technique, allows them identify experiences terms both beneficial challenging aspects, well potential improvements experiences. On one hand, most relevant findings experience assessed are presented follows: work by themselves real project related working world; be able apply theoretical topics explained during class sessions; highly talented instructors; very dynamic effective learning; give final presentation classmates groups. other when analyzing core perceptions, following ones highlighted surveyed students: undertaking just single project; having overly context; too much freedom, could lead confusion.

Higher education accreditation within the Washington Accord has played a crucial role in advancing global recognition of engineering training, greatly benefiting professional sustainability graduates. However, existence substantial disparities higher systems among countries poses challenges for international accreditation, primarily due to information asymmetry. To address this issue, study focuses on comparative analysis representative undergraduate programs field ship from Ocean University China and Southampton UK. By examining curriculum both countries, aims shed light variations similarities between two. Moreover, delves into specific example “Marine Engineering English” module illustrate how an independent can effectively fulfill requirements while also serving system. Serving as significant practical case framework Accord, research provides valuable insights establishment that are aligned with standards.
