While economic development brings serious environmental problems, technological advances can effectively reduce pollution, which helps to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Although impact of green technology innovation on atmospheric pollutants and carbon emissions has been extensively studied, effect such pollutant reduction varies due diverse regional distribution characteristics different pollutants. Thus, this paper contributes literature by examining influence water pollution from a perspective, with particular emphasis pronounced clustering wastewater in China's coastal areas. Both Fixed-Effect model spatial analysis are adopted. Our findings reveal significant U-shaped relationship between as measured both industrial ratio unprocessed sewage. Introduction China's environmental policies and the green transformation of its industries have attained paramount significance in wake intensifying climate change soaring carbon emissions, critically shaping sustainable development at both national international scales. Methods Utilizing systems thinking methodology, dynamic spatial Durbin model was constructed, analyzing statistical data spanning from 2004 2021, encompassing 30 Chinese provinces. Results significantly influences distribution patterns across various regions. Discussion Environmental Protection investment has been effective curbing local businesses, yet it may also prompt relocation these businesses neighboring provinces, inadvertently elevating emissions. Green innovation adoption energy technologies proven instrumental reducing region, with positive spillover extending nearby areas. The transition to a low-carbon economy is key challenge for Eastern Europe, where economic growth, energy investments, and emission reduction policies interact in complex ways. This study employs spatial econometric approach assess the effectiveness of renewable investments government environmental spending mitigating CO2 emissions across region. Using panel data Durbin models (SDMs), we identify significant spillover effects reduction, revealing those one country influence neighboring regions. results indicate that have positive but localized impact on whereas expenditure exhibits diminishing returns beyond threshold 0.01 GDP. It is very important to enhance the risk resistance of agricultural sector realize modernization transformation industry and strengthen competitiveness national agriculture.
