In an era where digital technologies are integral to daily life and sustainable education is increasingly critical, developing higher-order thinking skills with appropriate information communication technology (ICT) support crucial for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The purpose of this study was examine synergies systems technology-enhanced learning from the perspective flow theory within context education. We surveyed more than 65 pre-service preschool teachers engaged in a design, technology, engineering (DTE) course at University Ljubljana. Mapping revealed that needed regarding feedback understanding interrelationship dimension thinking—essential components Predictive mediation analyses yielded noteworthy results. Participants ICT-enhanced DTE rated their cognitive social engagement above mid-point scale, higher correlating contrast, aesthetic below scale. Experiencing state during ICT activities positively influenced thinking, particularly terms clear goals autotelic experiences. Flow thus emerges as solid framework use studying These findings underscore importance integrating into curricula enhance outcomes prepare students future challenges, thereby contributing achievement SDGs through

Human-centered systems thinking (HCST) can be seen as a promising enabler of effective Industry 5.0. This study primarily examined whether architecture students consider themselves thinkers and how this affects their design thinking, digital competency, engagement in sustainable inclusive practices. Next, also the students’ HCST profiles, stability, roles motivation, risk propensity human-centered design. Using person-oriented approach cluster analysis, sample Polish from three universities (n = 208) was classified based on self-perceived ability. Three profiles were identified, namely high, average, low HCST. A multivariate analysis variance (MANOVA) revealed that differed significantly terms competencies, while multinomial logistic regression (MLR) perceived intrinsic motivation predicted would more likely to have high profile. MLR an undefined role context education. The findings indicate it is essential recognize support with throughout It suggested change focus programs promote encourage course designers create novel tailored technology-enhanced integrated thinking.
