This study explores the application of sustainable adaptive reuse strategies in preserving historical and cultural buildings, with goal establishing a scientifically robust framework indicators for systematic evaluation practical application. Focusing on diaojiaolou (stilted buildings) along Tuojiang River ancient town Fenghuang, research integrates findings from an extensive literature review theoretical to propose multidimensional indicator system encompassing preservation, rehabilitation, urban renewal, reuse, revitalization, restoration. Through detailed field investigations comprehensive case studies, examines significance stilted including their spatial organization, structural design, material composition, decorative features. It also critically assesses effectiveness promoting regional development. The increasing urbanisation and fast-paced lifestyle have heightened the importance of shopping malls in retail industry, altering traditional patterns by designing efficient space optimise time shoppers. Due to this newly-acquired importance, these become critical players industry sector. In the context of post-war reconstruction, this study introduces a novel assessment model tailored for preliminary management blast-damaged reinforced concrete buildings without structural collapse risk. The addresses critical challenge prioritizing reconstruction efforts within constraints time and resources while integrating economic, environmental, social dimensions. Developed using Integrated Value Model Sustainable Assessment refined through Delphi method, provides stakeholders with practical tool to evaluate alternative scenarios, including refurbishment, demolition, retained identity, preservation future work. Validation is carried out case tourist hotel in historic area Damascus, where report confirmed building posed no results indicate that “preservation work” most sustainable option environmentally, “refurbishment” emerges as economically socially. Abstract The global construction industry is experiencing significant growth, driving the demand for building floor area. However, this expansion comes with substantial environmental consequences, including high‐energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, together economic social impacts. To address these challenges, research aims at providing designers decisions‐makers an approach that will aid quantification of those impacts relevant sustainability performance flooring systems. A holistic assessment was performed considering economic, environmental, aspects using Integrated Value Model Sustainability Evaluations. This study focused on various typologies, reinforced concrete (RC) fiber‐RC (FRC) slabs solid waffle (for RC solution) configurations. most representative criteria indicators column‐supported were identified, measured, weighted—aggregated in a decision‐making tree—in order to obtain index (SI) each alternative. results analysis evidence slab has higher overall SI than other alternatives, FRC alternatives performing similar quantified solution being lower among systems considered study. sensitivity showed have potential improving performance.
