Cadmium (Cd) is a toxic element that accumulates in kidney and liver.L-carnitine(LC) natural compound has been shown to exhibit antioxidant activity.Aim of this study was investigate the effect L-carnitine against cadmium-induced changes liver tissues prepubertal female rats.In 21-day-old Wistar Albino rats were used.Control, cadmium (2 mg/kg intraperitoneally), (300 orally) cadmium+L-carnitine groups formed.Liver tissue sections stained with Hematoxylin-Eosin Masson Trichrome.Histological scoring performed kidney. In given Cd, bile duct proliferation, inflammation cells connective portal area decreased treatment group. In kidneys, group treated L-carnitine, it observed capillary congestion kidneys decreased, but tubular dilatation continued some places. In fibrosis groups, statistically significant decrease Cd+LC compared cadmium. In histological results groups, statistically epithelial degeneration conclusion medium-dose effects subacute period, these are alleviated L-carnitine.

Cadmium (Cd) is a pervasive environmental and industrial toxin that poses significant health risks. It readily moves through soil–plant systems, leading to global contamination human exposure diet, smoking, pollution. The main purpose of this review explore the effect Cd on physiological processes different bodies’ organs, including bones, kidneys, liver, as well immune, cerebrovascular, cardiovascular, reproductive systems. Accumulation in body can result poisoning with severe impacts bone kidney health, reduced mineral density due renal damage. Research has linked lung cancer pulmonary toxicity, elevated urinary biomarkers suggest compromised function. also affects immune systems; liver; contributing various diseases by disrupting blood pressure calcium regulation, causing oxidative stress DNA damage, impairing cell functions. Ongoing research essential fully understand Cd-induced toxicological effects develop effective interventions prevent mitigate

Cadmium (Cd) is known as a widespread environmental neurotoxic pollutant. Cd exposure recently recognized an etiological factor of Parkinson's disease (PD) in humans. However, the mechanism underlying neurotoxicity relation to Parkinsonism pathogenesis unclear. In our present study, C57BL/6 J mice were exposed 100 mg/L CdCl2 drinking water for 8 weeks. It was found caused motor deficits, decreased DA neurons and induced neuropathological changes midbrain. Non-targeted lipidomic analysis uncovered that altered lipid profile, increased content proinflammatory sphingolipid ceramides (Cer), sphingomyelin (SM) ganglioside (GM3) consistency with lipids, mRNA levels genes encoding sphingolipids biosynthesis midbrain dysregulated by exposure. Neuroinflammation evinced up-regulation cytokines at protein levels. Blood contents metabolites patients ICP-MS LC-MS/MS analyses demonstrated elevated blood concentration positively associated score Unified Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS). 3 ceramide showed good specificity candidate biomarkers predict monitor (AUC>0.7, p < 0.01). summary, study perturbed metabolism related neurotoxicity, partially compensated deficiency particular metabolic exposure, emphasized necessity reducing population level.

As a non-essential metal, cadmium (Cd) poses significant threat to food safety and public health. This risk is particularly pronounced for infants young children due their high consumption relative body weight immature physiological systems. review examines the health risks associated with Cd exposure, during prenatal period through adolescence. It evaluates prevalence of Cd-rich foods in children's diets intake levels across various countries. The demonstrates that exposure neurodevelopmental disorders, immune dysfunction, cardiovascular diseases. also highlights geographic differences some Asian countries, such as Thailand China, exhibiting higher overall among compared other regions. presents several recommendations mitigate early childhood, including reducing content food, inhibiting absorption, promoting its excretion from body. To minimize dietary children, it recommended stringent regulations limits be implemented, alongside coordinated multi-stakeholder effort. provides important insights into effective policy development, laying foundation achieving broader goals.
