Abstract Microplastics are pervasive in the environment with potential health effects. Our study aimed to compare physical and polymer characteristics of microplastics found colorectal cancer samples from United States Malaysia. were extracted tissues using chemical digestion 10% potassium hydroxide surface morphology was examined under a scanning electron microscope. Polymeric composition incorporated micro-fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis. detected all samples, Malaysian exhibited higher abundance (32.2 items/g) than American (25.9 items/g). Similar shapes observed both groups fibers being most abundant. have longer category size (Category II=501-1000 µm) I=<500 µm). Both roughness on their similar types including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA) polycarbonate (PC). Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) only samples. In conclusion, ubiquitous human tissue despite different population sampling time.

Acrylamide (AA) has raised concerns throughout the world in recent years because of its potential negative effects on human health. Numerous researches humans and animals have connected a high dietary exposure to AA possible risk cancer. Additionally, higher consumption acrylamide also been associated with dysfunctioning various organ systems from nervous system reproductive system. is primarily metabolised into glycidamide inside body which gets accumulated different tissues including kidney liver, chronic this can lead nephrotoxicity hepatotoxicity through molecular mechanisms. Tumble drying of textiles is associated with mechanical and thermal stress, which leads to textile damage shedding fibers. In this study, fiber from cotton investigated by evaluating the mass fibers accumulated on different filters positioned downstream tumble dryer drum. The total at end was positively correlated dry loaded textiles. By observing time-dependent accumulation a high-performance filter, three phases could be identified. first phase, lasted up moisture content about 35%, only minimal detected. following phase almost until showed highest rates. last rate decreased. experiments also that longer tumbling lower led greater To reduce shedding, resulting pollution, it recommended loading textiles, especially in final stages process.
