Abstract
The
extensive
use
of
bisphenols
in
the
plastics
industry
globally
is
a
major
growing
concern
for
human
health.
Bisphenol
compounds
are
easily
leached
out
from
plastic
containers
to
food,
beverages,
and
drinking
water
contaminate
natural
environment.
Daily
exposure

increases
their

impairs
various
organs,
including
reproductive
system.

Wastewater-based
epidemiology
(WBE)
is
a
powerful
tool
to
gather
epidemiological
insights

the
community
level,

data
on
population
exposure

substances.
A

and
polyfluoroalkyl
(PFAS),

phthalates
terephthalates,
benzophenones,
pesticides,
bisphenols,
parabens.

some
advantages

Background:
Plastic
pollution
driven

human
activities

issue

health.

literature
demonstrates
that
micro-
and
nanoplastics
(MNPs)
contain
endocrine-disrupting
chemicals
(EDCs)

harmful
compounds
enter
the
body
easily,
acting
as
agonists
or
antagonists

hormonal
receptors,
promoting
endocrine
toxicity.
Endocrine
