In addition to their advantages as promising methods for wastewater treatment, CWs exhibit poor performance in terms of N and P removal efficiency the effluent treatment plants. By focusing on this issue, we designed integrated with a biochar-doped activated carbon cloth (ACC) electrode alum sludge from water plants substrate achieve concomitant organic matter nutrient efficiency. Chile has numerous areas that lack sewage collection, including in the capital city. Sanitation these cases is managed through individual solutions like septic tanks or small wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) use biological treatment, usually activated sludge with extended aeration. In general, design of systems adheres to quality standards mandated by regulations for discharge, infiltration, irrigation. this scenario, traditional methods increasing dissolved oxygen (DO) hydraulic retention time (HRT) were unable effectively reduce excessive nutrients.
