The objective of this review is to provide a comprehensive examination the role microbial metabolites in progression neurodegenerative diseases, as well investigate potential therapeutic interventions targeting microbiota. A literature search was conducted across following databases: PubMed, Scopus, Web Science, ScienceDirect, and Wiley.
