This study investigated the knowledge and practice of safety protocols among journalists serving as frontline workers in fight against COVID-19 Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Descriptive survey research design was adopted. Structured questionnaire served instrument for data collection. The population all one hundred fifty-seven (157) registered anchored on Stages Change Model Health Belief Model. Simple percentage, frequency table, bar chart, T-test Pearson’s chi square tests were used to analyse questions whereas t-test Chi test hypotheses at 0.05 significance level. Findings show that majority respondents had good Coronavirus personal protective measures, they lack technicalities equipment required serve health a highly infectious pandemic situation such Coronavirus. recommends special training who cover pandemics, particularly ones this nature better equip them with requisite skills genre assignment. Journalism bodies institutes could also consider inclusion reporting part specialised courses journalism studies. Prioritsing vaccination during pandemics is strongly recommended.
