Dysbiosis in the gut microbiota plays a significant role GI cancer development by influencing immune function and disrupting metabolic functions. can drive carcinogenesis through pathways like dysregulation release of carcinogenic metabolites, altered metabolism, genetic instability, pro-inflammatory signalling, contributing to initiation progression. Helicobacter pylori infection genotoxins released from dysbiosis, lifestyle dietary habits are other factors that contribute development. Emerging diagnostic therapeutic approaches show promise colorectal treatment, including multitarget faecal immunochemical test (mtFIT), standard FIT, transplantation (FMT) combined with PD-1 inhibitors. We used search engine databases PubMed, Scopus, Web Science. This review discusses dysbiosis onset explores strategies such as FMT, probiotics, prebiotics enhance response improve therapy outcomes.

In recent years, tumor immunotherapy has made significant breakthroughs in the treatment of malignant tumors. However, individual differences efficacy have been observed clinical practice. There is increasing evidence that gut microbial metabolites influence distal via gut-liver axis, gut-brain axis and gut-breast a process may involve modulating expression immune cells cytokines microenvironment (TME). this review, we systematically explore relationship between immunotherapy, examine corresponding natural products their mechanisms action. The in-depth exploration research area will provide new ideas strategies to enhance mitigate adverse effects.

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), also known as acne inversa, is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder that primarily affects body folds and the genital area, with higher prevalence in women across Europe. The pathogenesis of HS involves complex interplay intrinsic extrinsic factors, including genetics, immunity, hormones, environmental influences. frequently associated variety comorbidities, such metabolic, endocrine, gastrointestinal conditions, well mental health disorders. Although symptoms are generally similar both men women, female patients may experience exacerbations due to hormonal fluctuations during menstruation, pregnancy, breastfeeding, menopause. These changes require special consideration by clinicians when managing women. Due its nature frequent flare-ups, significantly impacts patients' quality life, affecting social interactions, emotional well-being, psychological health. Women sexual dysfunction, which further exacerbated burdens shame, loss femininity, diminished intimacy. This review highlights key aspects HS, extending beyond manifestations address psychological, nutritional population. It underscores importance multidisciplinary collaboration providing comprehensive care for this debilitating condition. Given limited largely off-label treatment options, holistic approach essential ensure an appropriate management.

This study aimed to investigate the associations between a dietary index for gut microbiota (DI-GM), flavonoid intake, and female infertility, while exploring age-specific differences in these relationships identify potential strategies infertility prevention. cross-sectional focused on participants aged 18-45 years, with data obtained from 2017-2018 cycle of National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Weighted multivariable logistic regression models were employed examine DI-GM, self-reported infertility. Age-stratified analyses performed evaluate whether varied across reproductive life stages. Higher DI-GM scores significantly associated reduced risk (aOR = 0.30, 95% CI: 0.13-0.71, p 0.006), strongest protective effects observed women < 35 years (Q3: aOR 0.13, 0.03-0.58, 0.007; Q4: 0.27, 0.09-0.77, 0.015). Beneficial also showed effect 0.75, 0.57-0.98, 0.036). Among ≥ moderate intake (Q2) significant inverse association 0.19, 0.06-0.66, 0.009). Our findings reveal novel evidence that higher are linked lower patterns observed. younger (< years), was years. Estrogen receptors (ERs) play a critical role in breast cancer (BC) development and progression, with ERα being oncogenic ERβ exhibiting tumor-suppressive properties. The interaction between ER signaling other molecular pathways, such as PI3K/AKT/mTOR, influences tumor growth endocrine resistance. Emerging research highlights the of prebiotics modulating gut microbiota, which may influence estrogen metabolism, immune function, therapeutic responses BC. This review explores impact on receptor modulation, microbiota composition, regulation, metabolic pathways cancer. potential adjunctive therapies to enhance treatment efficacy mitigate chemotherapy-related side effects is discussed. A comprehensive analysis recent preclinical clinical studies was conducted, examining reprogramming short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) derived from prebiotic fermentation epigenetic regulation resistance also evaluated. Prebiotics were found modulate microbiota-estrogen axis, reduce inflammation, responses. SCFAs demonstrated selective downregulation reprogramming, suppressing growth. Synbiotic interventions effects, improving quality life patients. offer promising avenue for prevention therapy by pathways. Future trials are needed validate their treatments management.

ABSTRACT Problem Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) is a significant cause of female infertility, severely impacting physical and mental health. Current treatments, primarily hormone replacement therapy, fail to restore function may adverse effects. Moxibustion, traditional Chinese medicine has shown potential in treating POI, but its mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigated the therapeutic effects moxibustion on POI rats explored underlying mechanisms. Method Study A rat model was established using cyclophosphamide, applied daily CV4 SP6 acupoints for 4 weeks. We analyzed levels, estrous cycles, follicle count, gut microbiota. Transcriptomic metagenomic sequencing were performed identify pathways. Network pharmacology used predict active components targets. Results Moxibustion restored improved hormonal imbalances, increased reserve function. identified five moxa, based results network transcriptome sequencing, we believe that regulation IL‐17 pathway key mechanism. Further experiments showed downregulated Th17/IL‐17 pathway, reduced proteins such as IL‐17R, NF‐κB, MMP3, IκBα, IL‐1β, MMP9, TRAF6, Cox2. Flow cytometry confirmed decrease Th17 cell proportion. Gut microbiota analysis revealed enhanced microbial diversity modulated specific bacterial species, which correlated with levels. Conclusion effect by regulating Th17/IL17 microbiota, provides evidence clinical application moxibustion.
