Tidal flats have been reported to contain many microorganisms and play a critical role in maintaining biodiversity. In surveys of filamentous fungi from tidal flat sediments China, seven new species Eurotiales were discovered described. Morphological characteristics DNA sequence analyses combined datasets the BenA, CaM, RPB2 regions support their placements recognition as species. Aspergillus liaoningensis sp. nov. Novel species of microfungi described in the present study include following from Australia: Diaporthe ceratozamiae on Ceratozamia robusta, Seiridium banksiae Banksia marginata, Phyllosticta hymenocallidicola Hymenocallis littoralis, Phlogicylindrium uniforme Eucalyptus cypellocarpa, Exosporium livistonae Livistona benthamii and Coleophoma eucalyptorum piperita. Several are also South Africa, namely: Phoma proteae, Pyrenochaeta protearum Leptosphaeria proteicola Protea spp., Phaeomoniella niveniae Nivenia stokoei, Toxicocladosporium leucadendri Leucadendron sp. Abstract In recent decades the vitality and physical stability of European ash trees in Germany have been reduced by dieback, especially when associated with stem collar necroses rots. This study was carried out to investigate composition fungal communities necroses. Filamentous fungi were isolated from 58 nine forest stands northern, eastern, central Germany. Obtained isolates identified a genus or species level means morphological molecular analyses. total 162 morphotypes including endophytic, saprotrophic, pathogenic isolated. For 33 found no prior reports Fraxinus excelsior recognised, Cryptostroma corticale Diplodia sapinea . None at all studied sites, though fraxini most common fungus regard frequency within , occurring seven sample sites. is followed Hymenoscyphus fraxineus Armillaria spp., Neonectria punicea Diaporthe cf. eres Fusarium lateritium Paracucurbitaria sp. order isolates. Phylogenetic and morphological analyses on Ceriporia other related genera in Irpicaceae were carried out.Ceriporia, Gloeoporus, Meruliopsis characterised as resupinate, effusedreflexed or pileate polypores with poroid smooth hymenophore, a monomitic hyphal structure, crystals, an oily substance are contained the Irpicaceae.Ceriporia phylogenetically sister genera.They share resupinate to rarely effused-reflexed basidiomata white, buff brightly colored structure simple septa generative hyphae, ellipsoid, cylindrical allantoid basidiospores.However, hymenial cystidia present most species, while they absent species.Gloeoporus is distinguished from by having gelatinous hymenophore sometimes clamp connections.Phylogenies reconstructed using multiple loci DNA sequences, including internal transcribed spacer regions (ITS), large subunit of nuclear ribosomal RNA gene (nLSU), largest polymerase II (RPB1), translation elongation factor 1α (TEF1) small (nSSU), well two combined datasets (ITS+nLSU) (ITS+nLSU+RPB1+TEF1+nSSU).
