Abstract. The research aims to find out the inculcation of discipline, as well teacher and efforts overcome them in instilling discipline through scout activities. was conducted at SDN Baturan 1 Gamping Sleman 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses a qualitative method. results showed that incultation carried democratic way, namely by using clothes attributes, inserting materials related giving orders hand signals or whisles, examples role models, reward punisments. obstacles faced are there still one two children who annoying, when they explained busy don’t listen, students also influenced outside environment such bad association, easy access internet without supervision from parents, television magazine media. Which today mostly uneducated. Efforts these getting closer students, starting uniforms complete advising, children, working with parents guide behave discipline.Keywords: democracy, reward, punisment

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode reward dan punishment dalam memperkuat kematangan emosional anak usia dini. bertempat di Bustanul Athfal Aisyiyah Tanjungsari, Banyudono Boyolali dengan melibatkan 15 pada kelompok B 2 wali kelas. Jenis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dokumentasi. Peneliti mengobservasi aktivitas perilaku mengolah emosionalnya terhadap guru teman sebayanya, terkait mendapatkan beberapa pertanyaan kepada kelas mengenai penerapan punishment, sedangkan dokumentasi catatan kejadian yang terjadi hasil karya anak, poto, rekaman, video saat pembelajaran. Metode analisis digunakan adalah triangulasi teknik, menggabungkan reduksi data, penyajian kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dapat peneliti memberikan sebuah berupa pujian, isyarat gerak tubuh, sentuhan barang ketika melakukan suatu perbuatan baik atau bagus seperti teguran, peringatan, melalukan kegiatan (hukuman ringan) tindakan kurang melanggar peraturan agar belajar bertanggung jawab atas perbuatannya tidak mengulangi kesalahannya lagi.

This research is intended to determine the parenting patterns used by parents in shaping disciplinary character of class V students at Tegalmulyo State Elementary School. was conducted using a qualitative method with phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses Miles Huberman's steps which include reduction, presentation, drawing conclusions/data verification. results show that fifth grade School are disciplined carrying out activities home school, although there still some violations, but percentage relatively small. Then pattern shape students' democratic based on existing characteristics. Apart from factors oneself, schools also have an important role student discipline. If will provide advice, direction models form discipline, then school it through action directions rules conduct contain obligations, prohibitions, sanctions rewards.

Aims: This study aims to: 1) analyze the implementation of reward and punishment in forming independent character elementary school students? 2) mapping forms used students. Study Design: The adopted a qualitative approach with phenomenological design. Place Duration Study: research was conducted Primary School State 1 Terong Tawah, West Lombok, Indonesia, between January 2023 August 2023. Methodology: author in-depth interviews two people, namely principal class teacher. Apart from that, also made observations. analysis procedure follows interactive recommended by Miles, Huberman, Saldana, encompassing data collection, condensation, presentation, conclusion drawing. To ensure validity, employs triangulation, including source triangulation technique triangulation. Additionally, member checks contribute to validation. Results: findings reveal: shaping independence primary students involves processes: (1) Planning or Preparation Reward Punishment; (2) Implementation Punishment during Learning. Various rewards are applied, such as giving stars, expressing commendatory phrases, providing additional grades. Meanwhile, administered vary according nature mistakes, reprimands, advice, assignments, motivational strategies that aid formation. Conclusion: methods can be considered accommodate humanist values. Teachers do not provide form violence has physical psychological impacts.

This research explores the impact of rewards and punishments in educational context, focusing on meeting students' needs based Abraham Maslow's hierarchy. The aim this study is to understand how physiological, safety, social, esteem, self-actualization are addressed through provision punishments. employs a descriptive qualitative method with case approach. data comprises book documents regulations FGI (Forum Group Interview). The world of education has three domains that students must master: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. cognitive domain is oriented toward mastery science technology, the affective related to attitude, morality, spirit, character.
