Purpose
This
study
aims
to
empirically
assess
how
infrastructure
development
influenced
economic
growth
in
Zambia
from
2000
2020.
Design/methodology/approach
The

data

Indicators
(WDI),

countries'
social

economic
well-being
depends
on
various
factors,
recent
research
emphasises
the
importance
of
transport
ICT
infrastructure.
To
reduce
welfare
differences
among
EU
countries,
European
Commission
governments
have
to
ensure
convergence
this
infrastructure
as
well.
Previous
studies
shown
that
is
taking
place
at
national
level,
however
situation
regional
level
still
needs
be
determined.
In
light
this,
study
examines
in
member
states
NUTS
2
regions
different
periods.
The
methodology
based
neoclassical
approach
convergence,
i.e.,
β-convergence
model
presented
by
Barro
Sala-i-Martin
(1992).
This
deemed
most
appropriate
for
determining
whether
disparities
terms
members
are
diminishing.
Research
findings
present
clear
evidence

EUR
support

structural
funds
transport

infrastructure.
