This theoretical article proposes an interdisciplinary teaching strategy for Social Sciences in Primary Education, aimed at transforming traditional pedagogical practices. It integrates critical pedagogy, the competency-based approach, and immersive technologies such as virtual reality metaverse.Methods:A qualitative, exploratory propositional approach was adopted. A document-based literature review conducted using recent studies on learning, digital education. The data were analyzed through a comparative integrative synthesis to design assess its alignment with contemporary demands.Results:Four key dimensions emerged: (1) conception of strategy; (2) identification guiding principles; (3) articulation between pedagogy approach; (4) projection toward learning environments. These elements form model capable promoting thinking, social responsibility, meaningful experiences.Conclusions:The proposed offers relevant adaptable framework that aligns 21st-century educational challenges. Although empirical validation has not yet been performed, this foundation may guide future pilot implementations, expert evaluations, development instructional designs.

Educational transformation is increasingly influenced by emerging technologies, which offer unique opportunities to redefine learning. This study aims critically analyze the scientific production related use of technologies in educational field, focusing on their impact teaching–learning process. Abstract This study investigates how engagement (E), foreign language enjoyment (FLE), and ambiguity tolerance (AT) exert mediation/moderation in metaverse-based learning (FLL). Featuring augment/simulation-based experiences self-fulfillment/external-control-oriented mechanics, metaverse provides virtualized interactive circumstances involving individuals’ embodied presence/behaviors, aligning with FLL that emphasizes social interaction. Based on the quantified survey data, partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) analyses investigate significance positivity of relations. According to results, E exerts fully positive mediation effect intrinsic motivation (IM) effectiveness (LE), FLE partially classroom climate (CSC) E, AT negative moderation LE. Notably, insignificant growth mindset (GM) E.
