Abstract Recently, long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have attracted great attention from researchers. LncRNAs are non-protein-coding of more than 200 nucleotides in length. Multiple studies been published on the relationship between lncRNA expression and progression human diseases. LncRNA small nucleolar RNA host gene 4 (SNHG4), a member SNHG family, is abnormally expressed variety diseases, including gastric cancer, renal cell carcinoma, glioblastoma, neuroblastoma, prostate colorectal osteosarcoma, cervical liver lung non-small-cell neonatal pneumonia, diabetic retinopathy, neuropathic pain, acute cerebral infarction, myeloid leukaemia, endometriosis. ABSTRACT Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a prevalent malignancy of the digestive system. Here, we explored role M2 macrophage‐derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) carrying long non‐coding RNA‐nuclear paraspeckle assembly transcript 1 (lncRNA‐NEAT1) in promoting CRC progression via regulation miR‐204‐5p/regulator ribosome synthesis (RRS1) axis and cell cycle dynamics. Firstly, differentiated WTHP‐1 cells into M0 macrophages transfected with sh‐NEAT1 lentivirus plasmids. EVs were isolated from administered to SW480 along miR‐204‐5p inhibitors or si‐RRS1 for 24 h. M2‐EVs‐derived lncRNA‐NEAT1 enhanced proliferation, migration, invasion, viability while reducing apoptosis. This was accompanied by increased expression RRS1, WEE1 G2 checkpoint kinase (WEE1), cyclin‐dependent (CDK1), CyclinB1, reduced levels, lower proportion G2/M phase. Knockdown reversed these effects. Mechanistically, functioned as competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA), sponging upregulate RRS1 expression. Abstract The long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) Small Nucleolar Host Gene 4 (SNHG4) has been demonstrated to be significantly downregulated in various inflammatory conditions, yet its role chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) remains elusive. This study aims elucidate the biological function of SNHG4 COPD and unveil potential molecular targets. Our findings reveal that both Four a Half LIM Domains 1 (FHL1) were markedly COPD, whereas microRNA-409-3p (miR-409-3p) was upregulated. Importantly, exhibited negative correlation with markers patients but positive forced expiratory volume 1s percentage (FEV1%). distinguished from non-smokers high sensitivity, specificity, accuracy.
