The effects of global warming are not limited to rising temperatures and have set in motion a complex chain events contributing climate change. A consequence the resultant change is rise cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms (cyano-HABs) across world, which pose threat public health, aquatic biodiversity, livelihood communities that depend on these water systems, such as farmers fishers. An increase cyano-HABs their intensity associated with an leakage cyanotoxins. Microcystins (MCs) hepatotoxins produced by some species, organ toxicology has been extensively studied. Recent mouse studies suggest MCs can induce gut resistome changes. Opportunistic pathogens Vibrios abundantly found same habitat phytoplankton, cyanobacteria. Eutrophication management is one of the greatest environmental challenges for lacustrine systems worldwide. The empirically predicted models between algal chlorophyll (CHL-a) and total phosphorus (TP) provide a basis managing eutrophication in lakes reservoirs, but other factors influencing empirical relations must be considered. Here, we tested impacts morphological chemical variables, as well effect Asian monsoon, on functional response CHL-a to TP using two-year data 293 agricultural reservoirs. This study was based approaches (linear sigmoidal), CHL-a:TP ratio, trophic state index deviation (TSID). Algal exhibited strong log-linear relation with 2-year average (R2 = 0.69, p < 0.001), whereas it had more sigmoidal terms monsoon-seasonal averages 0.52, 0.001). linear segment CHL-a–TP aligned gradient (10 mg/L 100 mg/L) from mesotrophic eutrophic conditions. transfer efficiency mean high (0.6 <) across all assessed systems. showed insignificant correlations reservoir variations, decreased (<0.5) hypereutrophic during monsoon season (July–August). Because suspended solids (TSS) have become increasingly abundant, light conditions insufficient growth after season. Light-limited prevalent shallow depth dynamic sediment ratio (DSR) because intense rainfall inputs wind-induced resuspension post-monsoon TSID reflected degree limitation reduction underwater corresponding changes water chemistry (ionic content, TSS, TN:TP ratio), gradient, metrics (mainly DSR). Our findings suggest that monsoon-induced attenuation, which are also associated anthropogenic pollutant runoffs morphology, critical influence temperate Modeling assessing should therefore take into account seasonality along individual features further.

Cyanobacteria can form intense and sometimes toxic blooms in all kinds of aquatic ecosystems, typified as cyanobacterial bloom. Cyanobacterial create a range harmful toxins, which may disturb water sources, successively posing serious health threat to living organisms, at this stage they are termed algal (CyanoHABs). The occurrence toxins globally reported, so is the evident Bangladesh, mainly trigged by increased anthropogenic eutrophication global climate change. accumulation several human's drinking water, recreational biota such zooplankton, fish larvae juveniles interrupt aquaculture, ecosystem public Bangladesh. As management measures cyanobacteria cyanotoxin insufficient proper for mitigating worldwide crucial maintenance sustainable development functional some recommendations illustrated. Further appropriate research on biology ecology cyanobacteria, their relationship with environmental factors well nutrient ponds manage noxious algae essential minimize adverse impacts aquaculture country.

ABSTRACT: One of India's oldest and fastest-growing sectors is tannery production. The tanneries produce various types pollutants in the environment depending upon procedure that has been used. present study investigated physicochemical parameters effluents its impact on aquatic environment. Tannery effluent contains a variety hazardous compounds, including chromium, calcium, sodium, potassium, chloride, sulphate, electrical conductivity, colour, odour, pH, temperature, TSS TDS. All was found higher [chromium 1.17-1.52 (1.327±0.132), calcium 800 (713.83±50.33), sodium 1805 (1634.83±75.06), potassium 38-112 (78.44±9.05), chloride 2330-4210 (3334.22±241.92), sulphate 830-1008 (952.17±15.06), EC 1148-2905 (2378.61±124.27), temperature 29.3-38.0 (31.21±1.45), 710-1623, (1199.39±137.99), TDS 7049-8500 (7669.17±141.99), BOD 1060–1664 (1347.17±73.68), COD 3025-4982 (4029.83±163.56), TH 2200-3417 (2794.50±136.49) only pH levels were lower 4.4-8.8 (7.01±0.491) effluent]. high heavy metals analyzed might become major source pollution which affect management effluent's involves combination regulatory, technological, educational approaches. It requires multi-faceted effort to mitigate environmental harm while supporting tanning industry's sustainable development.

Freshwater ecosystems are among the systems most threatened and impacted by anthropogenic activities, but there is still a lack of knowledge on how this multi-pressure environment impacts aquatic communities in situ. In Europe, nutrient enrichment temperature increase due to global change were identified as two main pressures lakes. Therefore, we investigated interaction these community structure extreme components lake food webs: phytoplankton fish. We modelled relationship between (abundance, composition, size) environmental conditions, including pressures. Different patterns response highlighted. Four metrics responded only one pressure metric additive effect Two fish (average body-size biomass ratio perch roach) eutrophication, revealing that was dependent magnitude second pressure. From management point view, it appears necessary consider type strength interactions when assessing sensitivity communities, otherwise their vulnerability (especially change) could be poorly estimated.
