Background/Objectives:
Oral
cavity
carcinomas
(OCCs)
represent
roughly
50%
of
all
head
and
neck
cancers.

risk
occult
metastases
for
early-stage
OCCs

from

35%,

Background
The
systemic
inflammation
response
index
(SIRI)
has
been
investigated
for
its
prognostic
relevance
in
patients
with
glioma;
however,
findings
remain
inconsistent.
Therefore,
this
meta-analysis
aimed
to
clarify
the
value
of
SIRI
glioma.
Methods
PubMed,
Web
Science,
Embase,
Cochrane
Library,
and
CNKI
were
systematically
searched
through
December
28,
2024.
Pooled
hazard
ratios
(HRs)
95%
confidence
intervals
(CIs)
calculated
assess
association
between
glioma
prognosis.
Results
A
total
10
studies
including
1,942
participants
analyzed.
Elevated
was
significantly
associated
poorer
overall
survival
(OS)
(HR=1.67,
CI=1.46–1.91,
p<0.001)
shorter
progression-free
(PFS)
(HR=1.80,
CI=1.29–2.52,
p=0.001).
Subgroup
analyses
indicated
that
OS
PFS
consistent
regardless
sample
size,
pathological
subtype,
cutoff
value,
or
type
analysis
(p<0.05).
