Background/Objectives: Oral cavity carcinomas (OCCs) represent roughly 50% of all head and neck cancers. The risk occult metastases for early-stage OCCs ranges from 15 to 35%, thus the need develop tools that can support diagnosis detecting these metastases. Inflammatory biomarkers perineural lympho-vascular invasion are emerging as effective in this field. aim study is demonstrate effectiveness parameters detect (T1-T2/N0) OCCs. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 81 patients surgically treated OCC. For patients, data regarding TNM, pN status after histopathological examination, inflammatory biomarkers, have been obtained. statistical performed using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve calculate optimal cutoff values SII, SIRI, PLR, NLR. Results: Fifty-eight confirmed N0 surgery, while twenty-three resulted pN+. best cut-off were PLR 249.30, NLR 13.10, MLR 0.439, SII 1043.12, SIRI 1.85. accuracy 75%, 81%, 74%, 73%, 70%, 83%. Conclusions: Our results confirm clinical relevance could be used routinely preoperative help surgeons decision-making process, particularly surgical indications lymph nodes treatment.
