For the first time, ball milling has been employed in solvent-free synthesis of sulfur-functionalized materials from thiols and α,β-unsaturated ketones esters, using potassium carbonate as a transition metal-free catalyst. This environmentally friendly protocol makes use easily accessible reagents to prepare thirty β-sulfenylated carbonyl compounds with yields exceeding 91 % under ambient air conditions. Additionally, this innovative synthetic strategy enables modification chalcones, significant medicinal potential. The reactions are efficient scalable gram quantities, offering substantial benefits for practical applications.

The burgeoning interest in natural components personal care products has led to significant research and development of ingredients such as plant extracts, antioxidants, peptides, probiotics. These have been recognized for their potential enhance skin health through various mechanisms, addressing consumer demand that are both effective benign. Plant known rich composition bioactive compounds, offer a myriad benefits including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial properties, making them invaluable formulations. Antioxidants, derived from plants other sources, play pivotal role protecting the oxidative damage, thereby preventing premature aging promoting vitality. Bioactive peptides garnered attention owing multifunctional activities include collagen synthesis, inhibiting enzymes responsible degradation, reducing inflammation, contributing regeneration anti-aging. Probiotics expanded utility beyond gut care, where they help maintaining microbiome balance, thus enhancing barrier function potentially mitigating disorders. purpose this review is explore individual roles probiotics products, while emphasizing synergistic effects when combined. By integrating these components, paper aims highlight developing innovative skincare formulations not only address specific concerns but also contribute overall health, aligning with increasing preference holistic solutions.
