Abstract The reaction of the synthesized (E)‐1‐(4‐((2,4‐dihydroxy‐6‐methylphenyl)diazenyl)phenyl)ethan‐1‐one, (DMPDE) ligand with Ag(I) ion at room temperature resulted in formation complex; [Ag(DMPDE)(H 2 O) ]. 1 H NMR, 13 C FTIR, UV‐Vis, mass spectra, elemental analyses, thermal analysis (TGA/DTA), and molar conductance measurements were done to elucidate structure synthetic compounds. results revealed an interesting geometrical variation; tetrahedral for complex. Atomically precise clusters of group 11 metals (Cu, Ag, and Au) attract considerable attention owing to their remarkable structure fascinating properties. One the unique subclasses these is based on dichalcophosphate ligands [(RO)2PE2]- type (E = S or Se, R alkyl). These successfully stabilise most diverse Cu, Au superatoms, spanning from simple ones amazing assemblies featuring unusual structural bonding patterns. (1) Context: Cancer is still a major problem worldwide, and traditional therapies like radiation chemotherapy often fail to alleviate symptoms because of side effects, systemic toxicity, mechanisms resistance. Beneficial anticancer effects that spare healthy tissues are made possible by the distinctive redox characteristics noble metal complexes, especially those containing palladium, gold, silver, platinum. (2) Methods: The processes, molecular targets, therapeutic uses complexes in cancer have been subject much study over last 20 years; novel approaches ligand design, functionalization nanoparticles, tumor-specific drug delivery systems highlighted. (3) Results: Recent developments include Pt(IV) prodrugs terpyridine-modified Pt for enhanced selectivity decreased toxicity; platinum cisplatin, trigger reactive oxygen species (ROS) production DNA damage. Functionalized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) improve targeted theranostic capabilities, while particularly Au(I) Au(III), inhibit redox-sensitive processes such as thioredoxin reductase (TrxR). (4) Conclusions: Ag(I)-based compounds (AgNPs) induce damage mitochondrial dysfunction taking advantage oxidative stress. Silver complexes bearing substituted terpyridine or tetra-2-pyridinylpyrazine ligands have been prepared and structurally characterised. The study of the anticancer properties silver with this type is scarce, despite possibilities combining metal ability for DNA binding. Here, antiproliferative activity, stability, CT-DNA binding, mechanism cell death these types derivatives are studied. Several organometallic complexes based on more than twenty different metals have already been approved for medical applications.
