Introduction: A descriptive, exploratory, non-experimental study was conducted to explore the characteristics of academic stress among first-year medical students in fourth module 2022 class Bachelor Medicine and Surgery program at Faculty HigherStudies (FES) Zaragoza. The aimed identify primary factors that contribute stress. Methods: sample comprised 200 Higher Studies Zaragoza, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). data were collected using Cognitive Systematic Inventory Academic Stress (SISCO). Results: inventory revealed most commonly identified environmental stressors are excessive workload, professors´ evaluations, professors' character personality. reported indicators sleep disorders, chronic fatigue, drowsiness. widely used coping strategies include assertiveness, making a plan completing tasks, self-praise.Conclusions: In conclusion, differences frequency observed. These important because they can help design implement solutions, such as workshops or programs, improve management setting for this population

Background: Ego-resiliency could play a protective role, especially in stressful situations. Such situation is certainly the period of COVID-19 pandemic. The beginning pandemic was source significant stress for many people. Students, medical faculties, were one social groups that be particularly affected by reorganization everyday functioning. Effective coping with during this have been important minimizing its negative effects. Aim: aim study to assess ego-resiliency as factor enhancing life satisfaction and against symptoms anxiety depression group health students Methods Material: This conducted from October 2020 June 2021. included 362 faculty 249 Academy Physical Education (APhE). Ego Resiliency Scale (ER89-R12), Life Satisfaction (SWLS) Anxiety Depression (HADS) used study. Among statistical methods, Mann-Whitney U test Spearman's rank correlation coefficient used. Results: In group, obtained an average score 34.96 ± 5.19 points APhE 36.49 5.22 on ER-89-R12; difference statistically (p = 0.003). On SWLS, mean 23.65 5.9 22.35 5.67 APhE; also 0.005). assessment anxiety, 8.43 4.34 7.60 4.27 points; 0.012). depression, achieved 5.10 3.77 about 4.77 3.26 not significant. Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on medical education, with many institutions shifting to online learning ensure the safety of students and staff. However, there appears be decline in in-person attendance at schools across UK worldwide following relaxation social distancing rules reinstatement teaching. Importantly, this trend was also observed before pandemic. While reflected within literature, is currently no systematic review describing these changes. We aim find out how students’ changing as documented literature its their educational outcomes. Methods This followed guidelines Centre Research Dissemination, Moose Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses. searched major databases Medline via Ovid, Embase Scopus, Web Science, British Education Index EBSCOhost ERIC September 2023. Two reviewers independently screened each paper extracted data, third reviewer dispute resolution. All studies reporting from various universities, both graduate undergraduate, changes and/or outcomes were included. Risk bias individual assessed using Agency Healthcare Quality tool. A narrative synthesis findings all included done. Results 12 papers analysis. Numerous research results have already pointed towards the negative influence of increased mental stress on educational processes and motivational criteria. It has also been shown that global public health crisis induced by COVID-19 was related to anxiety symptoms elevated levels distress. To holistically elucidate dynamics pandemic-related first-year medical students, associated parameters three different cohorts were measured at beginning restrictions university life in Germany (20/21), peak COVID-19-related (21/22) during easing winter term 22/23.
